To add to the excitement, shiny Petilil will be making its first-ever appearance during this event. Furthermore, Bulbasaur, Jigglypuff, Oddish, Hoppip, Seedot, Cacnea, Ferroseed, Spritzee, Swirlix, and Dedenne will have increased wild encounters, giving players the chance to encounter their shiny variants. Additionally, participants who hatch 2km eggs during the event will have the opportunity to obtain Budew, Cherubi, Sewaddle, Petilil, Bounsweet, and Larvesta, which is considered one of the more challenging Pokemon to acquire in Pokemon GO. As an added bonus, each day of the event will feature a different Pokemon appearing more frequently in parks, with Petilil on August 5, Cacnea on August 6, Oddish on August 7, and Seedot on August 8.
During the Glittering Garden event in Pokemon GO, players can expect several bonuses. Buddy Pokemon will require less distance to earn hearts, and catches will yield more Stardust and Candy. Additionally, there is a higher likelihood of obtaining Candy XL while walking with Buddy Pokemon. By completing specific Field Research tasks, players will have the chance to encounter Tangela, Roselia, Petilil, and Foongus.
