During a Shadow Raid in Pokemon GO, one lucky player had an amazing stroke of luck and caught a special Beldum. This impressive feat has been shared with other players, inspiring envy and awe.

Pokemon GO's latest event, the Rising Shadows, has brought with it two exciting new features. The first is the introduction of Shadow Raids, a variant of the normal Raids influenced by Team Rocket GO's involvement in the game. The second is the long-awaited addition of the Master Ball in Pokemon GO. This powerful item can be obtained through Let's Go Special Research as part of Season 10: Rising Heroes. It is important to note that Season 10 ends on June 1st, so players should act fast to complete the research and receive the Master Ball as a reward upon reaching the fifth step.

During a Shadow Raid, Reddit user DiamondCat777 stumbled upon a remarkable discovery, catching a shiny Shadow Beldum. Beldum, a Steel/Psychic-type Pokemon introduced in Gen 3, evolves into the pseudo-legendary Pokemon Metagross. As part of Pokemon GO's Rising Shadows event, Beldum can be found in one-star Raids with a chance of being shiny. The caught Beldum boasts a CP of 682, a notable feat as its maximum possible CP is 1104. The Beldum caught by DiamondCat777 is not only a shiny Shadow Beldum, which is already quite rare, but also has almost perfect IVs, making it a valuable addition for players who plan to build a strong team for competitive play.

Shadow Raids were revealed in March by popular data miners Poke Miners, who found out that Niantic was working on this new feature. This Raid mode offers players an alternative way to catch Shadow Pokemon, which was previously only possible as a reward for defeating Team Rocket GO. In addition, Shadow Raids introduced Shadow Shards and Purified Gems, two items that players can use to make their encounters with Raid bosses easier.

The Beldum caught by DiamondCat777 is a rare find, particularly since it was captured shortly after the debut of Shadow Raids. While it is not impossible to find, players will need some luck on their side. Fortunately, the Rising Shadows event offers a chance for players to test their luck until May 28. This event includes raids with the legendary Regigigas and Tapu Fini, as well as Mega Raids with Pinsir and Altaria. Additionally, players can encounter Hisuian Qwilfish and Scraggy in the wild, with the latter being a highly sought-after and rare Pokemon among fans of Pokemon GO.

Pokemon GO is available for download on Android and iOS devices.
