However, Kardashian was quick to defend her daughter's talent.

"My children are off-limits," the founder of Skims wrote on her Instagram Stories the day after sharing her daughter's artwork. "My daughter and her best friend have been attending a rigorous oil painting class that encourages and nurtures their talents and creativity. North dedicated weeks of hard work to complete her painting, and as a proud mother, I wanted to showcase her masterpiece to the world."

Following her post, North was invited to the Bob Ross Experience museum in Indiana, impressing the staff with her skills. According to Katy Maggart, the communications manager for the museum, North "definitely" has a talent, particularly for her young age.

North honed her artistic skills beyond landscape painting and shared her progress on social media. In February 2023, she uploaded a video of her sketching a portrait of rapper Ice Spice on her and her mother's TikTok page. The clip showcased her technique of drawing the "Bikini Bottom" performer, and North captioned it with "Ice spice dupe." Spice was impressed with North's work and expressed her appreciation for the portrait.

Spice gushed about North's talent, expressing her admiration in an interview with TMZ. Kardashian proudly shared a photo of the finished sketch of the famous artist "Munch" on her Instagram Story. Alongside it, she also showcased North's other artworks, including a landscape painting, portraits of her brother Psalm, and her grandmother Kris Jenner. Kardashian is a mother of four, including North and Psalm, and also has two other children, Saint and Chicago, from her previous marriage to rapper Kanye West.

My daughter is incredibly creative and intelligent. She has the ability to outsmart us, or at least she thinks so," Kardashian shared during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2017. "But what's even more interesting is that she reminds me so much of Kanye. They have the same personality and say the same wild things."
