In July 2005, the Academy Award winner believed she had found her soulmate in Jesse James, whom she married. Sadly, their relationship came to an end in June 2010, following allegations from multiple women in March of that year who claimed to have had affairs with James. A year later, during a 2011 interview on ABC News, James admitted to the infidelity.
Bullock and James initiated the adoption process for their son Louis in January 2010. However, following their separation, Bullock completed the process as a single parent. In December 2015, she expanded her family by adopting daughter Laila.
After embracing motherhood, Bullock entered a relationship with Bryan Randall in 2015. Sadly, Randall passed away at the age of 57 in August 2023 after a private three-year struggle with ALS. News of his demise emerged shortly after it was revealed that he and Bullock were taking a break to reevaluate their relationship.

Sadly, their union came to an end in June 2010 when several women came forward in March, alleging that they had been involved in extramarital affairs with James. Confirming the accusations, James admitted to his unfaithfulness during a candid interview on ABC News in 2011.

Following her journey into motherhood, the actress formed a relationship with Bryan Randall in 2015. Unfortunately, after a private battle with ALS lasting three years, Randall passed away at the age of 57 in August 2023. Tragically, news of his death emerged shortly after confirming that he and Bullock were taking a break, with a "cooling-off period" discussed due to time spent apart.

Bullock also developed a friendship with Jennifer Aniston through their shared connection to the actor. "We were introduced by our ex-boyfriend. I use the word 'our' because both you and I were involved with this person," she revealed in her Interview cover story in February 2020. "We both had relationships with Tate...who showed great patience, considering he dated both of us."

In 1996, Bullock made a revelation that she had been in a relationship for about 10 months. Speculations arose that her partner was the film tech due to his presence at the premiere of The Net in July 1995. She described her unidentified boyfriend as a "really sweet person" in an interview with Detour. Balancing their hectic schedules proved challenging, as he was constantly working and they rarely had the opportunity to see each other. Prior to this relationship, Bullock had spent a year attempting to date but found it to be an unpleasant experience. It seemed that she had attracted individuals whose intentions were far from genuine.

Seeking help at a rehabilitation facility, he eventually finalized their divorce in June 2010.
"Yeah, I indeed had an affair with my spouse, yeah," James revealed to DailyMail.com in March 2017. "I acknowledged my actions and expressed sincere remorse. And that’s the conclusion."

Bullock was romantically linked to the star of Captain America in 2014. According to an insider, Evans was actively pursuing Sandra at the time.
In June 2014, the actress who starred in Two Weeks Notice made a joking comment about their connection. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she said, "You guys are a bit late to the party. We've already gotten married and now we're going through a separation. We've filed for divorce, so we ask for some privacy. However, we'll continue to be friends and take care of the farm animals we've adopted together, because it wouldn't be right to abandon them."

According to the insider, Sandra possibly held onto a hope for a miraculous reconciliation, even after the extensive cooling-off period. However, the likelihood of the pair mending their relationship was remote.
Randall's family sadly revealed that the photographer had peacefully passed away at the age of 57, after facing a personal fight against ALS for three years. The family shared in a statement to People, "On August 5, Bryan Randall departed from us after a courageous battle with ALS. Bryan made the decision early on to keep his battle with ALS private, and we made sure to respect his wishes by providing him with the utmost care."
