Meghan Markle revealed her favorite Christmas tradition at Variety's "Power of Women" event, showing that she and Prince Harry are just like everyone else. As their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, grow up, the couple is excited to create new traditions. Meghan savors every moment of the holiday season, especially when she gets to trim and decorate the Christmas tree with her little ones.

Meghan and Harry, aged 39, celebrated their initial two Christmases together as a couple at Queen Elizabeth II's Sandringham estate, alongside his family. In December 2017, while reflecting on Meghan's debut holiday with his family, Harry remarked on the positive reception she received, stating, "The family embraced her presence; we had a truly fantastic time together. She effortlessly adapted to our traditions and it felt like she had been a part of the family all along."

Two years onward, the couple made the decision to spend Christmas alongside Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland.

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excitedly anticipating quality time with their extended family at the end of this month. After spending the last two Christmases at Sandringham, they will celebrate this year as a new family, alongside the duchess' mother, Doria," stated Buckingham Palace. "This decision aligns with the previous actions of other royal family members and has the support of Her Majesty The Queen."

Since their departure from The Firm in 2020, relations between Meghan, Harry, and the rest of the royal family have been strained. Although they have not visited the U.K. for the holidays in recent years, they also chose not to attend King Charles' 75th birthday celebration earlier this month.

Harry's spokesperson denied receiving an invitation to Charles' upcoming birthday following reports in the UK media.

Another informant informed Us magazine that Charles was contacted by Harry and Meghan after their absence at the event on Thursday, November 14.

"On Wednesday, November 15, the second source elucidated that Harry and Meghan phoned Charles on his birthday, signifying a substantial stride in repairing their relationship. Following a period of harboring animosity towards each other, it was a gratifying feeling to restore their familial bond and engage in cordiality once again."

Meghan and Harry's children made Charles' day even more remarkable by sending him a video of them singing him happy birthday. According to a source, Charles has been longing to talk to his grandchildren and reconcile with Meghan and Harry. The animosity between them has been detrimental for both parties, and they are all eagerly anticipating a brighter future and a stronger family bond.
