Another crew member left Below Deck following a disappointing charter that ended with a low tip. In the episode that aired on Monday, April 22, Captain Kerry Titheradge made the difficult decision to part ways with Chef Anthony Iracane. This decision came after receiving multiple complaints from the guests about Anthony's performance.

The chef did not pay attention to the preference sheets, did not accommodate the primary's dietary restrictions, postponed the beach picnic by not preparing the food in advance, and failed to deliver the meals he had promised to the guests.

"I need to be in a good mood to make great food, but right now I'm feeling down," Anthony confessed in a private interview at the start of the episode. "That's why my dishes aren't turning out well."

Fraser Olender was getting increasingly frustrated with the impact of Anthony's mistakes on the interior crew before the charter ended. He expressed his concern to the cameras, stating, "This is not only affecting my team, but also the boat. I have a feeling this tip is not going to be good." Fraser mentioned that he was spending most of his time with the Chef, constantly reminding him to do his job properly and keep things in order. He felt overwhelmed and mentioned, "I don't have the time to babysit him like this."

The guests left a small tip, which Fraser found embarrassing. He believed it was due to the quality of the food. Fraser expressed to Kerry that Anthony didn't take preferences into consideration, causing their meals to fall short of super yacht standards.

In a later scene, Kerry informed Anthony that he was being fired.

Kerry explained that every day on the boat, she has been guiding Anthony. She is happy to do so as long as he learns from their discussions. If someone can't keep up with the group, Kerry believes they should be left behind. Kerry tried to end things positively with Anthony.

"I think you are an incredible chef. Your food is absolutely amazing. But you are starting to nosedive,” the captain noted. “You don’t see where things are going wrong with the service? For a start, crew food was not a priority. The food has been late. You are making mistakes and not being prepared. I am seeing guests not being satisfied with what you are doing. This is not the environment for you. You are not flourishing.”

Anthony, however, didn’t think he was doing a bad job, replying, “I don’t know what you are talking about. I know I made a little mistake but I am human. Then why do people everyday tell me I am the most amazing chef in the world? So either people [are] full of s–t or …?”

Kerry responded by mentioning that Anthony was not performing well in other aspects.

According to Kerry, being a chef on a super yacht involves more than just cooking skills. The pressures on the boat require more than just being a great chef. Kerry added that if Anthony is kept any longer, it could lead to disaster. Kerry mentioned that letting Anthony go was actually a favor, as Kerry holds a lot of respect for him.

Kerry expressed her disappointment, saying, "It is really sad. I am not happy about this situation. The crew has begun to see that the chef is not performing well. If I let this continue, morale will suffer, and I can't let that happen."

Anthony saw his first firing as a chance to learn and grow.

"I will miss everyone dearly. Cooking for people brings me immense joy and is the only thing that truly makes me happy," he expressed. "I will return with a newfound energy and determination, ready to dive back into the game."

Anthony becomes the third crew member to bid farewell to St. David, following Jared Woodin and Cat Baugh. Prior to the premiere of season 11 on Bravo, Kerry hinted at more cast departures, mentioning to We in February, "I believe we may have set a new record for firings this season."

Fraser gave a sneak peek of what fans can look forward to from the rest of the cast in season 11. He mentioned that several new faces will be joining the show, bringing diversity and a mix of characters from different backgrounds.

Catch Below Deck season 11 on Bravo every Monday at 9 p.m. ET. If you miss an episode, you can stream new episodes the following day on Peacock.

Editor's P/S:

The latest episode of "Below Deck" saw yet another crew member leave the yacht, with Chef Anthony Iracane being fired by Captain Kerry Titheradge after a disappointing charter. This decision was made following multiple complaints from the guests about Anthony's performance, including his failure to accommodate dietary restrictions and deliver promised meals on time. Despite Anthony's belief that he was not doing a bad job, Kerry's assessment was clear: he was not meeting the standards expected of a chef on a super yacht. This firing highlights the high-pressure environment of the yachting industry, where crew members are expected to perform at their best at all times.

The departure of Chef Anthony Iracane follows the earlier exits of Jared Woodin and Cat Baugh, suggesting that this season of "Below Deck" may see more cast changes than usual. Captain Kerry has hinted at the possibility of more firings, which could lead to a significant shake-up in the crew dynamics. As the season progresses, it will be interesting to see how the new crew members integrate into the team and whether they are able to meet the challenges of working on a super yacht.
