The Big Picture
The latest Batman suit from the film The Batman, featuring Robert Pattinson, was briefly added to the game Batman: Arkham Knight on the Epic Game Store.
The suit was initially added and subsequently removed without any clear explanation, which left fans bewildered. There is speculation that the suit's inclusion was meant to correspond with the release of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy on the Nintendo Switch, but this release has now been delayed until December 1.
Gamers have been focused on Marvel's Spider-Man 2, but Batman: Arkham Knight surprised fans by adding Robert Pattinson's Batsuit from the upcoming film The Batman. Unfortunately, the suit was quickly removed from the game, leaving players confused. The update was unintentionally released on the Epic Game Store, creating a buzz online with official screenshots of the suit. It remains unclear why developer Rocksteady decided to remove it, especially since there was never an official announcement about Pattinson's Batman being included. It's possible that the suit was originally meant to coincide with the release of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy on Nintendo Switch, which was planned for earlier this month but delayed until December 1.
Batman: Arkham Knight, initially launched in 2015, delighted players with its diverse array of cinematic Batman costumes, showcasing the iconic appearances of Michael Keaton, Christian Bale, Ben Affleck, and even the whimsical rendition by Adam West. It is only logical for DC and Rocksteady to consider including the latest iteration of the Caped Crusader in the game, coinciding with the release of the Arkham Trilogy on the Switch. It would be particularly fitting for Robert Pattinson's portrayal of the character to be featured, considering Arkham Knight's Halloween Night setting aligns with the thematic essence of "The Batman" movie.
