A new leak from Honkai: Star Rail has unveiled the upcoming weekly boss for Version 1.2, giving players a preview of what's to come. Since its release, Honkai: Star Rail has offered players a range of challenges and activities within its sci-fi RPG world. These include limited-time events with various rewards, as well as permanent game modes like the Simulated Universe and Forgotten Hall. Within the game, players encounter a variety of bosses with unique mechanics and strategies across different worlds.

One of the game's most challenging encounters is the "Echo of War" bosses, found among the repeatable challenges like Calyxes and Stagnant Shadows. Currently, Star Rail offers two Echo of War challenges each week, where players have limited opportunities to claim rewards. These challenges feature the formidable Doomsday Beast in Herta Space Station and the cunning Cocolia, Mother of Deception on Jarilo-IV. The Xianzhou Luofu, the game's second explorable world, currently lacks a weekly boss. However, a recent leak suggests that this world will soon receive its own Echo of War boss in an upcoming update.

A recent leaked video by CynoUlts, known for leaking content from Honkai: Star Rail, showcases the new weekly boss of Xianzhou Luofu. Additionally, the video provides a demonstration of Kafka, an upcoming character in the game. The boss, a towering entity, is mostly concealed by the clouds below and wields a hand fan for attacking. As part of its abilities, the boss sporadically summons lotus-shaped mobs that, upon their destruction, grant a beneficial buff to allies. The video also reveals the boss's Ultimate attack, which unleashes a tremendous explosion, causing Quantum damage to all members of the player's party.

The video does not provide clear information on the origins of the weekly boss, but it does offer useful tips for players preparing to fight it. The new boss has three elemental weaknesses, making it vulnerable to Electric, Wind, and Imaginary attacks. Additionally, the boss has three phases, with an Ultimate attack guaranteed after depleting its first health bar.
