Honkai: Star Rail, a turn-based RPG created by the renowned developer of Genshin Impact, is the highly anticipated sequel to Honkai Impact 3rd.

Since its release in April, Honkai: Star Rail has enjoyed immense success, thanks in large part to the existing popularity of HoYoVerse, which was established through the strong player base of Genshin Impact. The game not only received glowing reviews online but also surpassed 20 million downloads within a single day of its official launch. The development team is now dedicated to providing regular updates to keep the community engaged and excited.

HoYoVerse has announced that the highly anticipated 1.3 update for Honkai: Star Rail is set to release on August 30. During the recent Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins special program, it was revealed that players will have the opportunity to unlock three new characters: Fu Xuan, Dan Heng - Imbibitor Lunae, and Lynx. Fu Xuan is a powerful Quantum-type five-star character from the Preservation path, while Lynx is a supportive healer with Quantum-type abilities, ranked at four stars. Additionally, players can look forward to the arrival of Dan Heng - Imbibitor Lunae, a captivating five-star character with Imaginary-type powers, who was previously introduced as a story character during a specific Trailblaze Mission but will now be accessible through normal gameplay.

However, the 1.3 update of Honkai: Star Rail is not limited to the introduction of new characters alone. The developers have revealed that players will also have the opportunity to explore a brand-new map called the Aurum Alley. Furthermore, the roguelike mode, Simulated Universe, will receive an upgrade with the inclusion of an exciting new story called The Swarm Disaster, which delves into the conflict between Tayzzyronth and other Aeons.

HoYoVerse is already generating excitement for future expansions, despite the 1.3 update not yet being released. Just recently, Honkai: Star Rail introduced Topaz, a five-star character who wields the Fire element and serves as the Senior Manager of the Strategic Investment Department at the Interastral Peace Corporation in the game's storyline. If this holds true, players will likely have to wait until October or November to obtain her, depending on when the new update is released.
