Created in 2020, the character was initially named Wiles before being changed to Miles G. Morales. Accompanied by Mos Def's "Revelations," this clip showcases the character's backstory before the events of the film.

Following the recent revelation in the official Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse art book, it has come to light that Miles G. was indeed operating as a vigilante.
