West Germany played host to the tournament in 1988, yet it will be the inaugural occasion for Germany to organize the European Championship since reunification.
When is Euro 2024?
Set to occur from June 14 to July 14, 2024, Euro 2024 is eagerly anticipated.The tournament's draw will take place in Hamburg on Saturday, December 2nd. Germany, being the host nation, will be placed in Group A and hold position A1. This position grants them the opportunity to participate in the inaugural match at Munich Football Arena (Allianz Arena) on Friday, June 14th.

Germany has secured their spot in the finals as the host nation. This means that there are still 23 final berths available, which will be determined through the results of the European Qualifiers until November 2023. Additionally, play-offs are scheduled for March 2024 to determine further participants.
What is the tournament format?
The format will remain consistent with that of Euro 2020, wherein the two highest-ranking teams from each of the six final tournament groups will advance to the round of 16. Furthermore, four of the third-placed finishers, determined to be the most accomplished, will also progress to this stage.The quarter-finals and semi-finals follow before the Euro 2024 winner will be crowned in Berlin on July 14.
