Germany will stage the European Championship for the first time since reunification.The tournament draw will take place in Hamburg on Saturday, December 2nd. Germany, as the host nation, will be placed in Group A and have the position A1. This means they will play the opening match at the Munich Football Arena (Allianz Arena) on Friday, June 14th.

Euro 2024 qualifying ends in November with the draw for next summer's tournament in December
Germany has secured their place in the finals as the host country, leaving a remaining total of 23 spots. These spots will be determined through the results of the ongoing European Qualifiers, which will continue until November 2023, and additional berths will be filled through play-offs scheduled for March 2024.
What is the tournament format?
The format will remain unchanged from Euro 2020.In the round of 16, the top two teams from each of the six final tournament groups will advance, alongside the four best third-placed finishers.
The quarter-finals and semi-finals follow before the Euro 2024 winner will be crowned in Berlin on July 14.
