Welcome to Plathville's Ethan Plath is eager to start a family, while his wife, Olivia Plath, remains uncertain. In an exclusive clip of the upcoming episode on Tuesday, October 10, shared by We, the couple, both 25, deliberates their individual timelines for parenthood. During a joint confessional interview, Ethan poses the question to Olivia, "When do you think we should have children?"
Olivia replies, “In a long time.”
When Ethan asks if a “long time” means two years, Olivia just laughs and says, “Why are you asking me this?”
Later in the video, Ethan expresses his excitement about starting a family with Olivia, saying he "can't wait" to have a "little kid" with her. He adds that he would love to play with their future child.
Olivia raises a question about Ethan's choice of words when he refers to their future baby as "it." However, he quickly clarifies that he simply meant they didn't know the gender yet. Olivia playfully comments on Ethan's remark, comparing it to playing with a little airplane.

Ethan and Olivia officially became life partners in October 2018, following a year-long engagement. However, speculation has circulated for several months that the couple may be quietly living apart, casting doubt on their upcoming fifth wedding anniversary on Friday, October 13.
Olivia's most recent social media post about her husband was in November 2022, whereas Ethan's latest shout-out to Olivia was in January. In June, Olivia garnered attention when she shared her "summer resolves" on Instagram, with one of the items being "more kissing" and ending with the hashtag #nofrogs.
During a recent episode of Welcome to Plathville, the couple celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary and reminisced about how their vacation to Europe strengthened their marriage.

Olivia suggested that their past disputes with Ethan's extremely conservative family members may have been due to the minimal interaction with outsiders. She acknowledged that they had to overcome challenges and communicate without interference from outside voices.
Ethan expressed his belief that relocating to Minnesota would benefit their relationship. In a confessional interview, he stated, "Being alone as a couple will be beneficial for us. I am excited for the bright future ahead." Catch Welcome to Plathville on TLC on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET.
