Prior to his death at age 25, Angus Cloud wrapped filming his first leading role on the big screen.

"Your Lucky Day," directed by Dan Brown and written by the same, revolves around Sterling, a calm drug dealer, portrayed by Cloud. On Christmas Eve, Sterling finds himself holding a local convenience store hostage after witnessing an older wealthy man win a $156 million lottery ticket.

The recently released trailer, debuted on Friday, October 6, unveils a tense scene where Cloud engages in a deadly shootout with a police officer named Sterling Beaumon. This unsettling incident leaves six witnesses contemplating whether to expose what they saw or take a share of the fortune and part ways. The cast also includes Elliot Knight, Jessica Garza, Mousa Hussein Kraish, Jason Wiles, Sebastian Sozzi, Spencer Garrett, and Jason O’Mara.

Cloud ponders the age-old question in the trailer, "What would you do if you had a million dollars?" He asserts, "No one ever achieved wealth without engaging in illegal activities."

Brown credits his wife for recommending Cloud for the role of Sterling after she binge-watched HBO's Euphoria, where Cloud portrayed Fezco, a drug dealer with good intentions, in the show's initial seasons. Initially cautious about the casting due to the similarities between the characters, the director's reservations subsided after reviewing Cloud's previous interviews, affirming his suitability for the role.

Premiering on November 10, Your Lucky Day will pay tribute to the late actor Cloud with a heartfelt "For Angus" before the credits. According to director Brown, Angus was known for his kindness and passion for others, making this tribute especially poignant.

In July, Cloud's family sadly announced his passing, describing him as an incredible human who was cherished as an artist, friend, brother, and son. They mentioned his struggles with mental health intensified after laying his father to rest in Ireland the previous week.

Following Angus Cloud's demise, the Euphoria team expressed their sincere condolences through a heartfelt tribute posted on social media. The show's social media platforms conveyed the immense sadness felt by the team upon hearing the news, highlighting Angus Cloud's remarkable talent and cherished presence as a beloved member of both the HBO and Euphoria family. In this challenging period, they extended their heartfelt sympathy to his friends and family.

Cloud, who openly acknowledged his struggles with mental health and addiction over time, frequently commended the HBO series for its empathetic portrayal of hardships through his character.

In an interview with Complex in February 2022, Cloud expressed, "Not all actions define who you are. I've mentioned it before, but good people can be driven to do bad things. It's like, imagine if you have a starving family, and you steal an apple from an orchard to save them. Does that make you a bad person for stealing, or a good person for looking after your family? It's not a clear-cut answer." He further added, "Fez isn't a bad person; he's simply caught in an unfortunate situation, much like many of the characters on Euphoria. His profession doesn't alter the fact that he's caring, kind-hearted, and willing to protect and defend his loved ones when necessary."
