The subsequent main scenario quest, "The Meaning of Life," is a brief one. As a result, it has been merged with the walkthrough for the following main scenario quest, "Righting Wrongs." Final Fantasy 16 players can anticipate the following experiences during these two quests.

This walkthrough contains spoilers, so players should proceed with caution.

Return to Eastpool

Unravel the Enigmatic Realms of Final Fantasy 16: An Epic Quest to Embrace Destiny

Once you have finished your business at the ruins of Phoenix Gate, it is time to return to Eastpool. If you find yourself running low on supplies, keep an eye out for consumables scattered on the ground that players can collect while making their way back. Accompany Torgal and unlock the gate to Eastpool to initiate a captivating cutscene.

Go to Cid's Solar

After watching the cutscene, eliminate all the imperial soldiers in Eastpool. There is a small group located near the gate while a larger group occupies the middle of the town. Once both groups have been dealt with, a more formidable enemy will emerge. This enemy will be accompanied by two casters that must be eliminated first. Afterwards, avoid his attacks and stun him. When this enemy is defeated, a cutscene will be triggered and the world map will become accessible. At this point, you can fast travel to any location, except for the Hideaway which is currently disabled. Therefore, make your way to the Hideaway to progress the story.

Upon starting "Righting Wrongs," make sure to stop by the shop or blacksmith if necessary. Afterwards, proceed towards Cid's Solar and enter to initiate a lengthy sequence of cutscenes. Once all the cutscenes are completed, several additional quests will become available. These quests include "Needs of the Many," "Red Letter Day," and "Moving Heaven and Earth." Furthermore, Charon's inventory at the shop and the blacksmith's offerings will both be updated.

Head to Northreach

To progress the story, have a conversation with Charon first, followed by Otto. This will activate the Alliant Reports feature, providing players with a comprehensive overview of available side quests. Additionally, they can utilize this system to instantly travel to the location of a chosen side quest. The option to fast travel is now accessible, granting players the freedom to temporarily deviate from the main story and focus on completing side quests. Once prepared, engage in a discussion with Gav and then embark on a journey to Lostwing by employing the fast travel option after concluding the cutscenes.

Upon reaching Lostwing, head east towards Clairview. The pathway winds through a dense forest and is straightforward, occasionally interrupted by small enemy groups. There is also a secluded area where players can engage in a battle with the formidable Dragon Aevis to earn additional experience points and ability boosts. Continue following the road until arriving at Northreach. Upon approaching the shop, activate the obelisk situated in this vicinity. Adjacent to the obelisk stands a woman who triggers an intriguing cutscene upon her approach.

Find Tatienne

Once the cutscene concludes, make your way to Isabelle's location and engage in another conversation with her. Once she assists Final Fantasy 16 players in navigating the checkpoint, proceed towards the designated red waypoint, which will guide you to the Veil and trigger yet another engaging cutscene. On the outskirts of the Veil, reconnect with Isabelle once again to receive a task from her.

Start by initiating this request with a conversation with the Courtesan situated outside the Veil. Subsequently, pivot and make your way towards one of the nearby benches to engage in a discussion with another Courtesan. Following that, proceed to the garrison. Once there, converse with two soldiers stationed at the garrison, and finally locate Isabelle to relay the current findings of the investigation.

While processing this request, additional side quests will become available in this vicinity. Three quests can be found in Northreach, and two quests are located near Moore.

To proceed with the request, the next task is to converse with Bertrand in Moore. Simply follow the red waypoint to reach the village, where Bertrand can be found tending to the stables. Engage in a conversation with him, and subsequently, engage with the nearby traveling trader. After concluding the conversation, continue following the red waypoint towards the ruins. Eliminate the wolves present and inspect the bodies to initiate a cutscene.

Proceed to Moore and deliver the unfortunate news to Isabelle. Interact with her to fulfill the task. Once accomplished, ascend the hill behind Moore to reach the chapel. Unseal the gate to initiate a sequence of cinematic events, after which the world map will become accessible. To embark on the next crucial quest in the main storyline, ensure that you are adequately equipped and ready before venturing to Drake's Head.
