Kim Kardashian became emotional as she sorted through the belongings of her ex-husband, Kanye West, on a recent episode of The Kardashians. Despite their separation, she plans to keep some of his most significant items.

"I have a passion for storage unit projects and enjoy the process of going through and organizing," she expressed to the cameras. "Given my tendency to hold onto memories, regardless of their nature, I definitely need to declutter and clean out my storage unit. But I admit, I have a habit of preserving everything."

Kim was enthusiastic about preserving significant moments from both her and Kanye's careers for their eldest daughter. "Just imagine when North turns 16, and all the merchandise she wants to give away will be available at the merch tables," shared the reality star, who has daughters North, 9, and Chicago, 5, as well as sons Saint, 7, and Psalm, 4, with Kanye. As she sorted through Kanye's Yeezy attire, she eagerly anticipated the future event.

During the filming of the popular Hulu series, Kim proudly showcased various items from her past. These included elegant shoes influenced by Victoria Beckham's fashion sense, a drawing gifted to her by Jennifer Lawrence, and even Elizabeth Taylor's very first contract.

Reflecting on her journey, Kim shared her experience with organizing storage spaces. Initially faced with 32 units owned by Kanye, she successfully reduced them to just three. Among the assortment of belongings were numerous unpredictable samples and Yeezy merchandise. Realizing the need to declutter, Kim acknowledged that many of these possessions hold little significance for her. However, she remains attached to the ones that do, cherishing and preserving them dearly.

Filmed shortly after her divorce from Kanye was finalized in November 2022, the footage captures Kim's visit to the unit. Kim and Kanye had tied the knot in 2014 after a long courtship, but their relationship took a turn when Kim filed for divorce in February 2021. The subsequent legal battle prolonged the process. Reflecting on her journey on The Kardashians, Kim expressed a sense of peace. She acknowledged the positive aspects that emerged from her marriage and divorce, referring to them as her "time capsule" of cherished moments. Although she admitted that life had changed significantly and there was no going back, she found solace in the fact that her children would have wonderful memories and the footage would serve as a meaningful tribute to them.

Kim confirmed that she possesses a complete collection of every Yeezy item Kanye has made. She emphasized her determination to stay strong and not let her emotions ruin her makeup. Kim expressed that she has shed enough tears over the situation and is ready to move on. Despite the challenges she has faced, she appreciates her life but believes it is time for a change.
