Unlocking Diablo 4's Ultimate Quest: Mastering the Greater Good

Discover the whereabouts of stolen supplies in the immersive side quest, Greater Good, in Diablo 4 Embark on a thrilling journey to reclaim the valuable items and restore balance in this action-packed RPG

In Reaper of Souls, Malthael's actions caused significant changes in Sanctuary. Despite all the transformations, certain individuals remain unchanged. Within the Hawezar region of Diablo 4, there is a familiar character engaged in familiar mischievous activities. However, whether these actions serve the best interests of the people is debatable. Lyndon, the Scoundrel companion from the previous game, makes a return in Diablo 4 as a quest giver. Players are offered various tasks by Lyndon and he will provide enthusiasts with hints regarding his endeavors since his adventures alongside the Nephalem. This guide focuses on the Greater Good side quest.

Diablo 4 Greater Good — Stolen Supplies Location

Unlocking Diablo 4's Ultimate Quest: Mastering the Greater Good

This quest is unlocked upon completing Dead in the Water, a separate side quest assigned by Tomaj in the Forsaken Coast sub-region of Hawezar. Aid Tomaj, Ervin, and Szilvia before conversing with Lyndon to claim your rewards.

Lyndon will request that players retrieve stolen supplies from bandits in the vicinity. His trusted subordinate Orton will accompany the player on their pursuit of the culprits. Proceed to the designated area on the map and commence the search.

The supplies are located in a chest near a collection of likely stolen items, guarded by a gang of bandits. Look for the blue circle on the map to find this spot, indicated by bandits shouting at you.

Defeat the hostile bandits, collect the supplies, and return to Lyndon. Hand over the package to him, and players will be rewarded with the typical variety of side quest rewards: a few thousand gold, XP, a resource cache, and a substantial amount of Renown XP for Hawezar.

According to the bandits, Lyndon owed them the supplies and they were simply collecting what was owed to them. After defeating the gang, players can inquire with Orton about Lyndon's alleged betrayal, to which he will defend his boss, stating that he does not betray innocent people.

In Diablo 3, Lyndon is initially portrayed as a deceitful schemer, willing to go to any lengths to amass his wealth. However, despite his criminal inclinations, he surprisingly emerges as a benevolent (albeit morally questionable) individual, willing to confront the depths of Hell itself to safeguard the lives of others and, naturally, obtain plentiful riches.

Diablo 4 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
