This guide will walk you through the process of unlocking and utilizing this invaluable tool, allowing you to streamline your Pal collection and elevate their ranks.

How to Unlock the Pal Distillation Pod

To gain access to the Pal Distillation Pod, also referred to as the Pal Essence Container, you must first acquire Ancient Technology Points. These points become available after reaching Level 7 and are typically obtained by defeating Bosses. The most suitable Boss to confront initially is Zoe and Grizzbolt, located northwest of the Plateau of Beginnings within the Tower of the Rayne Syndicate, as depicted in the accompanying image.

Upon reaching Level 14, you will encounter the Pal Essence Container situated on the right-hand side beneath the purple column. Unlocking it requires a single Ancient Technology Point. Once unlocked, navigate to the 'Pal' section in your Build Wheel and construct the Pal Essence Container using the following components:

- 20x Paldium Fragments - 20x Ingots - 5x Ancient Civilization Parts

Paldium Fragments are readily accessible, and our guide can assist you in locating them. Ingots can be forged using Ore in a Furnace, while Ancient Civilization Parts are obtainable from Bosses, similar to Ancient Technology Points. They can also be found in chests or acquired from bosses such as the Level 11 Chillet near the Fort Ruins.

How to Use the Pal Distillation Pod

The Pal Essence Container provides a means to consolidate multiple copies of the same Pal and elevate the rank of one Pal. It allows for up to 4 rank increases, with varying numbers of Pals required for each level:

- Rank 1: 8 Same-Species Pals - Rank 2: 16 Pals - Rank 3: 32 Pals - Rank 4: 64 Pals

To utilize the Pal Essence Container, access it and select the Base Pal that you wish to level up. Subsequently, choose all Pals of the same species that you are willing to part with, and they will be distilled, resulting in the successful elevation of your chosen Pal's rank.
