How to Obtain the Zonaite Armor Set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

Players who frequently build Zonaite machines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can benefit from having more battery charges to prolong their creations. However, even with an ample supply of batteries, they will eventually run low. Fortunately, there is a Zonaite Armor Set that can reduce battery consumption by fifty percent.

To acquire the entire Zonaite Armor Set, players must visit three separate areas, with one piece of the armor located in each location. Follow these steps to obtain the Zonaite Armor Set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How To Get The Zonaite Waistguard

Reaching the Zonaite Waistguard is no easy feat as it requires a considerable amount of stamina. Players must be prepared for lengthy glide times to reach the Forge Sky Island. It's highly recommended that players stock up on stamina-boosting and refilling foods before attempting this journey. Although it's possible to create contraptions to reach the island, using the Zora Armor Chestpiece is a quicker and easier method.

To reach Forge Island, players must first head to Popla Foothills Skyview Tower in West Necluda, then fly east and land on the nearby North Necluda Sky Archipelago. Behind the shrine on the platform, players will find a large moveable launcher that they need to aim towards the East/Southeast. From this platform, they can launch themselves and glide over to the large waterfall, where the Zora Armor will automatically whisk them up the cascading liquid. Players who have low stamina can consume food or use Tulin's Blessing to gain extra speed.

Once players reach the top of the waterfall, they need to head around the small water pool and towards the floating platform. After defeating the lone enemy, they can attach a rocket to the platform and activate it to fling the platform towards Forge Island. On Forge Island, players must activate the nearby seal, which unlocks the area's smokestacks and opens a path for them to glide up. Moving from one smokestack to the next, players can reach the top of the island. From there, they need to dive down into the middle of the structure and avoid laser beams along the way.

At the bottom, players will see a Shine with some lava behind it. If they head around this shrine and throw a water-based item or use a Hydrant, a platform will be created in the lava. They can hop onto the platform and use Ascend to reach a small hidden alcove that contains the chest with the Zonaite Waistguard.

How To Get The Zonaite Helm

To access this area without relying on unconventional methods, players must obtain the Zora Armor Chestpiece. This will enable them to scale a massive waterfall from the ground level. However, reaching the Zonaite Helm can be challenging for players with low battery power. It's advisable to bring along some Large Zonai Charges to avoid any hindrances. The journey starts at Strock Lake, located just below Rito Village.

- Making It To Lightscale Island

To access the waterfall that reaches Strock Lake, players must wait for it to rain in the game world. The weather indicator beside the minimap must show water droplets, whether it is day or night, or the waterfall will not be long enough to touch the ground. If necessary, players can wait for the rain to arrive while sitting by a fire. Once the waterfall appears, players must climb it to reach the base of the North Tabantha Sky Archipelago. From there, they can proceed past a small pool of water and find a minecart nearby. After setting the minecart on the track, players can attach a Rocket to the back of it and use it to propel themselves to the next island via the rail.

Upon arriving at the second island, players will see a ramp extending to the left, as well as some Wings, Fans, and Rockets. To launch themselves toward the next island in the distance, players should attach the Fans and one or two Rockets to one of the Wings, set it on the ramp, and take off. This flight is quite long and requires almost three bars of battery power. While flying, players will notice a blue flash of light that indicates they have entered a low-gravity area. At this point, they should use their glider to conserve battery power and safely land on the next island.

On this island, players will only have two Springs to use. The next island they must reach features a large platform with a Flux Construct mini-boss on it. To reach it, players must stack the Springs on top of each other and align them correctly to gain as much height as possible. Once the Springs are connected in the right way, players should move them to a small area closer to the distant islands, climb atop them, and use a jump attack (Y + X) to activate them. This will launch Link into the low-gravity air and provide enough height to glide to the next area.

Players can find themselves on a small square with Fans and Batteries once they reach the island that connects to the Flux Construct boss platform. To reach the desired location, Lightscale Island, players need to look up and to the left of the Flux Construct platform. The island is located high above and players should attach any remaining Batteries they see before boarding the craft. Once onboard, they can let it rise up towards the large island above.

Upon arrival at Lightscale Island, players must utilize the nearby Zonai switch to drain the water. A beam of light will be visible shining towards an opening in the rocks. Upon reaching the location, players can use a bomb to destroy the wall, allowing light to enter a nearby cavern. In the cavern, players must locate and pick up a Mirror to direct the light beam towards a second Mirror. Players must continue aiming light beams towards each additional Mirror until the final Mirror pointing straight down is illuminated. Here, players must defeat a Construct Guard to acquire the Mirror Shield. Using the Mirror Shield, players can direct the beam of light towards its final destination, causing the island to "open up." The Zonaite Helm can be obtained by using Ascend to reach the platform above the bright green lock that the light is shining into. For those encountering difficulties, a video guide is available for assistance.

How To Get The Zonaite Shin Guards

In order to obtain the Zonaite Leggings, players must first locate the Sky Mine, a unique Sky Island that floats high above the clouds in the Akkala Region. To begin the journey, players should head towards the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower in Akkala, located just Northwest of Tarrey Town. The island can be found above the swirling pattern off the East Coast of the Akkala region, where the Gemimik Shrine is situated. While players with ample battery charge or Zonaite Charges can construct any type of flying vehicle to reach the location, it's important to note that it's quite a distance away from the tower. The simplest approach to reach the Sky Mine is to launch into the air from Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower and head towards the closest large platform, which is referred to as the Sokkala Sky Archipelago (also known as the Sokkala Sky Mine).

Note: This is the rewritten version of fragment 10.

Upon arriving at the Sokkala Sky Mine, players should keep in mind that it is not their final destination. The island they need to reach is called Sky Mine, without any additional names. Sokkala Sky Mine can serve as a starting point for their journey.

Once players reach the first platform, they can either defeat Flux Construct II or bypass it and head towards a nearby platform that houses a partly-built Zonai vehicle. By attaching the nearby batteries to this device, players can power it up enough to get to Sky Mine. They should aim to land on the lowest platform of the island.

After landing on the Sky Mine, players will need to locate the launcher nearby and use it to propel themselves to the top of the island. From there, they must adjust the next launcher's angle to point towards the large sphere in the sky. Then, they need to launch one of the cubes, aiming it to land in the top hole of the sphere. Once successful, they can use the launcher to enter the hole of the sphere as well.

To access the armor piece, players must place the cube onto the button inside the sphere, causing it to rotate. Once finished, they can jump down from the hole and enter the middle chamber where the armor awaits. If players need assistance, a video tutorial is available for reference.
