In Patch 10.1.5 of World of Warcraft, players now have the opportunity to craft the coveted Tier 3 armor sets. However, not everyone is pleased with this change. The original Naxxramas raid was a significant part of the Plaguelands story and served as the ultimate challenge for vanilla raiders. When Wrath of the Lich King was released, Naxxramas was remastered and became the Tier 7 instance, leading to the removal of the old version.
Over time, Tier 3 armor sets became a symbol of status for World of Warcraft players as they were no longer obtainable after Patch 3.0. It wasn't until Mists of Pandaria introduced the Black Market Auction House that new characters had access to Tier 3 armor, with bids often reaching millions of gold. While Tier 7 armor sets were a recolor of the original Naxxramas sets, many players preferred the initial color schemes, especially for classes like Mage or Shaman.
Patch 10.1.5 of Dragonflight is introducing a new feature to make old transmogs accessible to new players and fulfill the longstanding request for weapons like Gorehowl. This update will allow players to craft a complete set of Tier 3 armor for all nine original classes. Shenray shared this exciting news on the official World of Warcraft subreddit. While many fans are thrilled about this change, some argue that it undermines the accomplishments of players who earned the Tier 3 set in the past or those who spent large sums of gold to obtain it.
To obtain the crafting recipes, players will need to venture into Naxxramas and gather materials like Dark Rune and Essence of Undeath. As cross-realm trade is now possible, it is expected that the prices of these materials will rise significantly in the upcoming weeks. Additionally, two new materials, Wartorn Scrap and Phylacterweave, will be required for crafting and it is assumed that they will be obtainable in Naxxramas as well. The final ingredient, a Righteous Orb, can be obtained from the Scarlet Crusade in Stratholme.

As the trading post in World of Warcraft continues to expand, most players anticipate the eventual availability of Tier 3. The unexpected inclusion of crafting has been well received, with many considering it a better way to obtain Tier 3 gear. Although removing the old Naxxramas from the game may not have been ideal, this solution for a set that is seventeen years old could ultimately prove to be the most beneficial in the future.
