Unlock the Ultimate Adventure: Mythical Pokemon Arrive to Pokemon GO

Pokemon GO fans can finally rejoice as the highly anticipated mythical Pokemon is confirmed to make its debut The game has revealed exciting details about the upcoming event where players will have the chance to catch this rare and elusive creature

Diancie is set to make its long-awaited debut in Pokemon GO, as confirmed by Niantic. As the game's Season 11 kicks off with fresh content, fans are eagerly anticipating the highlight of Pokemon GO's calendar - the annual Pokemon GO Fest. Taking place in August, this year's festivities will be held in the U.S., U.K., and Japan, with New York, London, and Osaka serving as the host cities for in-person activities. These events will bring together local Pokemon GO communities and offer wild Pokemon encounters. But even those without a festival ticket can still join in, thanks to the global portion of Pokemon GO Fest 2023.

During Pokemon GO Fest, Diancie, a new Fairy-type Pokemon, will make its debut, expanding the list of available Fairy-type creatures in the game. Ticket holders can participate in Diancie's Special Research during both the in-person and global sections of the event. Another new addition to the game is Carbink, a Rock/Fairy-type Pokemon from Gen 6, which will be available on August 27 and 28. The festival will offer bonuses such as hour-long activated Lure Modules and an increased limit on Remote Raid Passes. Additionally, there will be four habitats with specific Pokemon spawns available on hourly rotations on Saturday, which include Pikachu wearing different crowns, Heracross, East Sea Shellos, Buneary, Trapinch, Gible, Joltik, Roselia, Oranguru, Marill, West Sea Shellos, and Goomy. On Sunday, there will be no rotation of habitats, and Pokemon can be found at any time. Ticket holders will also have access to Incense Encounters and can find rare Pokemon such as Hisuian Growlithe, Pawniard, Carnivine, Pachirisu, and different Unown variations.

Players eagerly anticipate the annual Pokemon GO Fest, which always brings exciting updates to the game. Last year's event introduced Shaymin, a mythical Pokemon that made its global debut almost a year later. This year, Diancie is set to make its first appearance in a similar fashion, leaving fans wondering if it too will have a "second debut" like Shaymin. The game is available for both Android and iOS users to enjoy.
