Players can unlock this creature by using a special code, granting them access to a version of the Pokemon that is not commonly found in the game. Initially released in 2022, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet faced some criticism for bugs and performance issues, but the developers have put in effort to enhance the gaming experience over time, making the games highly popular. With over 22.66 million units sold, these titles have become some of the best-selling games in the franchise.

Now, there's exciting news for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players! The Pokemon Company has recently announced a fantastic giveaway. They will be distributing an exclusive Electric-Type Mimikyu through Mystery Gift, and players can obtain this unique creature by redeeming special codes provided by GameStop. This exciting promotion is part of the companies' Halloween celebration, which will continue until October. Mimikyu's appearance during Halloween is not limited to just one event. The upcoming Halloween-themed Pokemon cards will also showcase this unique creature. These new cards are part of the Halloween Jazwares calendar box, which will include miniatures of the adorable Pikachu-like ghost as well.

In the seventh generation, Mimikyu made its debut as a Ghost/Fairy-type Pokemon. It can typically be caught in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in its normal and Tera-type forms. However, currently, the only available Tera Mimikyu in Scarlet and Violet is a Fairy-type version found in North Province Area Two. Therefore, this Electric version will be exclusive and unique.

In addition to this Halloween promotion, fans of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have plenty to look forward to. The eagerly anticipated Teal Mask DLC, the first of two expansions, will be launching soon. This DLC will introduce a range of exciting features for players, such as new TMs and enhanced customization options. Among the new TMs are Burning Jealousy, Grassy Glide, Lash Out, Poltergeist, and Toxic, offering gamers a wider array of strategies in battles.
