Endless Dungeon is an exciting tower defense game with elements of a roguelike, taking place in the same universe as the beloved indie game Dungeon of the Endless. As a spiritual successor to the original game, players embark on a thrilling adventure to explore and conquer an abandoned Space Station filled with a colorful cast of characters who, for some reason, are trapped inside.
As players progress through Endless Dungeon, they will have the opportunity to unlock various Beverages. These Beverages act as modifiers, allowing players to customize their gameplay experience by enabling or disabling them. Whether players want to add an extra challenge or simply change up their playthrough, these Beverages offer a unique twist. 7. Bloody Melee
Shoving Things Literally Gives You Life
Name | Effect | Unlock Method |
---|---|---|
Bloody Melee | Medkits no longer heal the player but make them invincible for 10 seconds after being used. Additionally, players get -100 percent defense and +10 Life Steal on Shove. | Defeating Bug Momma |
Regrettably, at the bottom of the list lies one of Endless Dungeon's more intriguing beverages: Blood Melee. When activated, Bloody Melee accelerates player deaths and renders medkits ineffective as healing aids.
However, players are rewarded with a significant increase in lifesteal when thrusting enemies and temporary invincibility for 10 seconds when using medkits. It's an unusual trade-off that delivers satisfaction in the initial stages of a run. Nevertheless, as players descend deeper into the dungeon, facing a burgeoning number of enemies and bosses, the absence of defense and limited opportunity to safely dispatch foes becomes increasingly evident.
6. Pepper Punch
Turn Those Turrets Into Death Machines (That Need Babysitting)
Name | Effect | Unlock Method |
---|---|---|
Pepper Punch | +50 Percent Turret Damage, +20 Percent Turret Defense, Turrets now deal 100 of their own damage to themselves per shot. | Defeat Shelldiver |
This is one of the top beverages for Comrade players because their main ability is placing turrets, and there is no cooldown for this. However, the focus of this beverage seems to be on environmental turrets, which can be more challenging to deal with.
To effectively stay alive while using this beverage in solo play, players should keep their turrets near them at all times or invest in Diagnosticators to heal the turrets as they take damage. In multiplayer sessions, teams can divide themselves to monitor different areas and their respective turrets. Regardless of the chosen strategy, having a high Wit stat is beneficial when using this beverage.
5. Silent Punch
For The True 'Elite' Gamers
Name | Effect | Unlock Method |
---|---|---|
Silent Punch | Mini-Map, Tactical Map, Wave Staus, Red Sector, & Border Marker UI Elements removed/disabled, but players get +30 Percent Speed and +20 Percent Hero Attack Damage. | Defeat Red Dead Eye |
This next Beverage belongs to a niche category of 'extremely potent' Beverages that offer the greatest advantages to players who possess exceptional skill (or believe they do) in Endless Dungeon. While the speed and damage boost provided by this Beverage are significant, the trade-off, which involves sacrificing a substantial amount of information access, is generally considered to outweigh the benefits.
That being said, as players become more familiar with the game mechanics, room layouts, and subtle visual cues, managing this Beverage becomes slightly easier. However, enabling it remains a highly risky choice and is not recommended for inexperienced players.
4. Medkit Megashake
Expensive Medkits That Are Absolutely Worth The Cost
Name | Effect | Unlock Method |
---|---|---|
Medkit Megashake | +100 Food cost to buy Medkits. When a Medkit is used, for 15 seconds afterward +50 Percent Hero Defense, +20 Percent Firerate, +50 Hero Attack Damage, and +20 Percent Speed. | Unlocked as Part of Shroom's Questline |
It is logical that this following Beverage is a component of the healer Hero, Shroom's, questline, owing to its effects. Essentially, when activated, players will exercise more caution in using medkits, and they will probably purchase fewer Hero upgrades available at the Upgrade Stations, which can be found anywhere within the Station. However, apart from these Upgrade Stations, the Food resource is not commonly utilized, especially when compared to Industry and Science, so the drawback of medkits costing twice as much is not excessively significant in the overall scheme of things.
3. Harvey Headbanger
Trading Raw Damage For Raw Intellect
Name | Effect | Unlock Method |
---|---|---|
Harvey Headbanger | +25 Percent Wit, +3 Industry per door opened, +15 Percent Speed, +60 Percent Knockback, -90 Hero Attack Damage. | Defeat the Last Boss (Eriaudy) |
For those players who prefer the tower defense elements of Endless Dungeon over the twin-stick shooter aspects, the Harvey Headbanger beverage is the perfect choice. Moreover, when used by certain Heroes such as Comrade, Fassie, and Sweeper, this beverage has the ability to instantly transform them into powerful healing and boosting machines for turrets.
But, when it comes to disadvantages, this Beverage is perhaps the most severe. The excessive reduction in damage essentially renders it nearly impossible for a player or a group of players to solely rely on their weapons and skills. Instead, their attention must be predominantly directed towards their Turret Research, Turret maintenance, and identifying the most advantageous Turret positions for every level.
2. For Those Who Wish To See What Cannot Be Seen
Ignore Tower Defense, Become Hero Shooter
Name | Effect | Unlock Method |
---|---|---|
For Those Who Wish to See What Cannot Be Seen | -50 Percent cooldown for Hero Active & Ultimate Skills, -50 Percent Damage on all Turrets. | Unlocked as Part of Fassie's Questline |
As for the upcoming Beverage, its name is incredibly lengthy and serves as a stark contrast to the renowned Harvey Headbanger. Rather than significantly reducing the Hero's damage output and enhancing Turret damage, FTWWtSWCBS adopts the opposite approach, making Turrets only half as effective while granting players the ability to utilize their Active and Ultimate Skills twice as frequently.
This can have a tremendous influence on a team that comprises of Heroes such as Shroom, Cartie, Zed, or Blaze, but it is beneficial for practically any Hero. However, it is crucial to emphasize that this game is a tower defense game, thus the decrease in effectiveness of Turrets caused by this Beverage will likely have a much greater impact during gameplay than what most players anticipated.
1. Tea Of Myriad Outcomes
For Those Who Hate Keeping Generators Running
Name | Effect | Unlock Method |
---|---|---|
Tea of Myriad Outcomes | Generators now select their resource randomly, +100 Percent Generator Max HP | Defeat the Last Boss (Eriaudy) |
Our preferred Beverage, and luckily, it is unanimously the top choice among the entire Endless Dungeon player base. One of the most frustrating aspects of Endless Dungeon becomes apparent after players have gone through it at least two or three times. This involves the constant effort to keep Generators operational. For those unfamiliar, Generators are objects that players can interact with to enhance the production of a chosen Resource for every door that is opened on the remaining part of that floor. This can tremendously influence the outcome of a run as a whole.
This implies that it is worthwhile to battle hordes of monsters during a wave in order to prevent them from damaging the Generator. However, when Tea of Myriad Outcomes is activated, the Generators are resilient and seldom destroyed in the early stages of a wave, allowing players ample time to protect them. Although the drawback of random resource selection for these Generators may appear challenging, as long as players employ their resources wisely, it should not significantly impact their progress in the game.

Endless Dungeon, the highly-anticipated pseudo roguelike tower defense game set in the same universe as Dungeon of the Endless, has finally arrived. As a huge fan of the original game, I was thrilled to dive into this new adventure and discover all the exciting new features it has to offer. One of the things that immediately caught my attention was the inclusion of Beverages, which serve as modifiers that can be toggled to alter gameplay. These Beverages offer unique strategies for both elite gamers and those seeking a different playstyle, and I couldn't wait to experiment with them all.
After several hours of gameplay, I've had the chance to unlock and try out a variety of Beverages, and I have to say, I'm impressed with the level of depth and variety they add to the game. From the Bloody Melee, which accelerates player deaths but rewards them with increased lifesteal and temporary invincibility, to the Turret Master, which allows players to place turrets without cooldown, each Beverage offers a unique set of advantages and disadvantages that can drastically change the way you play the game.
