A dedicated Honkai: Star Rail player successfully reaches Trailblaze Level 70, investing several hours in the popular space-fantasy RPG. In Honkai: Star Rail, players can steadily advance their Trailblaze Level by progressing through the main story, completing side quests, and participating in limited-time events and challenges.
Similar to Genshin Impact, developer HoYoverse regularly updates and adds new content to Honkai: Star Rail. In July, Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 introduced additional main story missions for players who have achieved the required Trailblaze Level and completed all story missions from Version 1.1. As the main story progresses, the Trailblaze Level requirements also increase, sometimes requiring players to complete Adventure Missions and explore Simulated Universe worlds if their current level is too low. Fortunately, Honkai: Star Rail offers an abundance of content that allows players to reach the current maximum Trailblaze Level, and future updates will continue to provide opportunities for XP and rewards.
JetSetHan, a player of Honkai: Star Rail, has recently achieved the impressive accomplishment of reaching Trailblaze Level 70, which is the current maximum level in Version 1.2. JetSetHan has been diligently playing the game since its launch on April 26, although they have not disclosed the specific methods they used to reach this level so quickly. This achievement has sparked speculation among fans about a potential increase in the maximum Trailblaze Level in a future update. Some believe that HoYoverse, the game's developer, may indeed raise the level cap, as the game's Trailblaze Level description suggests that level 70 is only the current maximum, unlike Genshin Impact's Adventure Rank, which states that level 60 is the permanent cap.
Currently, in Honkai: Star Rail, players can obtain Trailblaze EXP from various in-game sources, such as Trailblaze story missions, Adventure Missions, daily activities, and Simulated Universe worlds. Additionally, Trailblaze EXP can be earned by opening treasure chests and consuming Trailblaze Power. In the early stages of the game's main story, players can also quickly increase their Trailblaze Levels by participating in Golden Calyx activities.
Reaching Trailblaze Level 70 in Honkai: Star Rail requires dedication, as a significant amount of EXP is needed to progress from levels 60 to 70. Some users have noticed that natural Trailblaze Level XP gains tend to slow down around level 66, towards the end of Version 1.2's story. This means that players may need to spend more time engaging in activities in order to level up further. It is likely that future updates will introduce new sources of EXP, but it may take some time before the level cap is increased.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.3 is set to be released towards the end of the month, giving players a few more weeks to participate in the game's current events after completing the main story. Although it has not been confirmed whether there will be a level cap increase in the new update, the total Trailblaze Power limit will be raised to 240. This will allow players to participate in more Calyx and Simulated Universe activities, allowing for additional Trailblaze Level EXP gains.
Honkai: Star Rail is available now for Android, iOS, and PC. A PlayStation 5 version launches in Q4 2023.
