As the day of the trial approaches, Paimon and the Traveler diligently search for loopholes and debunk false allegations. Embarking on the captivating quest, "As Light Rain Falls Without Reason," serves as an excellent introduction to Fontaine and the enigmatic Hydro Archon.
To locate the malfunctioning fountain, travel towards the eastern direction from the Marcotte Station and proceed to engage with it. Remaudiere, an individual from the Genshin Impact realm, will then approach the players and provide an explanation of the situation.
He then leads the players to Edel, who informs them about an issue with the valve and takes them to Estelle's shop. Unfortunately, the blacksmith was compelled to give the valve to a significant customer and assured to create a replacement.
Present three Iron Chunks to Estelle and patiently await the completion of the valve. Upon completion, Edel reunites with Estelle at the dilapidated fountain to restore the entire structure. To their immense relief, water begins flowing once again, putting Remaudiere's worries to rest. However, his relief is short-lived as his youngest sibling emerges and demands that he perform the magic trick once more.
What Happened During Fountain Flowing Quest
Remaudiere once sneakily took his younger sister out of the house while their parents were at the opera, with the intention of impressing her with a magic trick. He planned to halt the fountain's flow, cleverly aware of its timing. Unfortunately, the trick went awry when the fountain unexpectedly malfunctioned and ceased to work. This unforeseen turn of events left the young magician perspiring anxiously, fearing that his parents would discover their escapade once his sister divulged the details of the failed trick upon returning home. Fortunately, the issue was merely a deformed valve that urgently required replacement.
