How to Get Across Water
: Exploring the vast map of Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos reveals an abundance of hidden treasures, including small plants, seeds, Wisps, towns, NPCs, and various other discoveries. To unveil these secrets and collect a substantial number of Wisps, players must navigate across bodies of water. Within the serene expanse, several enchanting islands emerge, encircled by picturesque ponds or lakes, adorned with Power Wisps, fruit trees, and coveted items. However, reaching these coveted spots necessitates patience, as players immerse themselves in this tranquil video game.To traverse the waters in Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos, players must wait for a new season. In Winter, certain islands freeze over, granting passage by foot or on horseback. Conversely, with the arrival of warmer weather, the water level decreases as rainfall patterns shift, revealing a walkable path to select islands. Keep an eye on the evolving season by consulting the maps, which will depict the available route.
In Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos, players have the opportunity to experience the changing seasons. However, it is important to note that the in-game days in Winds of Anthos are shorter than those in other Harvest Moon games. As a result, players will not have to wait as long as they may initially expect to receive the sought-after prizes. The challenge lies in remembering the locations of the water-locked islands from month to month.
How to Place Markers on the Map
To easily locate these items later in the game, players should place a map marker. This can be done by pressing the map button and hovering the cursor over the desired location. Pressing the interact button (which varies depending on the system) will mark the location on the map. However, players can only place one marker at a time, limiting the number of locations they can track in this game similar to Stardew Valley.
Currently, there are no other methods to track collectibles, such as interactive maps or tools. However, there is always the possibility of such tools being introduced in the future. Until then, players will need to rely on their memory to remember the locations they wish to fast travel to when the next season arrives.
Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos is available for PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and is coming soon to PC.
