Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos - A New Adventure Awaits

Natsume Inc. has confirmed the release of the upcoming Harvest Moon game, The Winds of Anthos. This beloved franchise has seen its fair share of highs and lows since its debut on the Super Nintendo, yet its longevity persists even on modern consoles.

Since 1996, Harvest Moon has garnered a loyal following, and despite changing developers over the years, players can always expect a robust farming sim experience from each game. The Rune Factory titles provided a refreshing twist to the established formula by introducing new activities and lore, such as battling monsters and exploring new areas. While Harvest Moon games like Light of Hope, Save The Homeland, and A Wonderful Life have been enjoyed by PS4 players, the franchise has yet to make its mark on the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S – until now. The Winds of Anthos promises to be a fresh addition to the series, and fans can't wait for its release.

In typical Harvest Moon fashion, The Winds of Anthos boasts unique features that distinguish it from other titles in the series. One such feature is Expando-Farm, which allows farmers to quickly move from one location to another. While players can explore the vast world of The Winds of Anthos on horseback, fast travel has been added to streamline the travel experience, a feature commonly found in modern RPGs.
