Cooldown times for abilities are now included on the Details pages in the Abilities menu, along with relevant information on how these cooldown times are impacted by the accessories currently equipped.

After surpassing the time limit, you can still play without any restrictions; however, any subsequent actions will not contribute to your score.

The scores granted by the Rime and Gouge abilities will be decreased. In upcoming updates, the scoring system will be adjusted to incentivize the skillful chain of multiple abilities. We will also closely evaluate the calculation of scores in Arcade Mode to ensure its difficulty remains intact.

Introducing a fresh leaderboard exclusively for players with this update. Players who choose not to install the update can still access and save their high scores on the existing leaderboard.

With the installation of this update, you will no longer have the option to view or record high scores on the previous leaderboard. However, any scores already recorded on the previous leaderboard will not be erased. We are aiming to make the previous leaderboards visible to all players in a future update.

The System menu is modified as follows:

Includes an Adaptive Triggers option in the Game Settings menu, enabling the toggling of the wireless controller's trigger effect function.

Introduces a new feature in the Game Settings menu called "Target Cycle" that offers four alternative ways to switch targets while locked onto an enemy.

Enhances the functionality of the Player Follow (Attack) option in the Camera Settings menu to resolve an issue where the camera position would involuntarily reset after certain attacks, even if the option was disabled.

A new option called Controller Volume is introduced in the Sound Settings menu, providing the ability to modify the sound effects volume played through the wireless controller's speaker.

Modifies the Visual Alerts functionality in the Sound Settings menu to include a preview of the alerts when enabled, and prompts a confirmation dialog when the setting is modified.

Fixes some text issues

Fixes the following issues:

Enemies in boss encounters were not triggering their actions correctly in certain conditions.

In certain conditions, the collision detection threshold could be exceeded during boss encounters.

An issue wherein certain characters' actions did not trigger correctly.

An issue wherein notorious marks did not appear under certain conditions.

Notorious marks were found in locations that did not match the ones indicated on the hunt board.

Holding down the touch pad button would cause the local map to appear when the Wireless Controller Layout option was set to Type F.

Certain weapons could not be crafted in Final Fantasy mode due to the unavailability of the required materials for crafting them.

The Search by Name function in The Thousand Tomes had a multi-language issue where certain entries could not be found.

An issue wherein game progress was not correctly carried over when transferring save data from the demo version to the full version.

Several minor text issues

Final Fantasy 16 is available now on PS5. A PC version is also in development.
