After the release of update 2.0 and the Phantom Liberty expansion, Cyberpunk 2077 has undergone significant changes, transforming it into a distinctively different game. Numerous systems and mechanics have been overhauled to create a more streamlined RPG experience.
For players who are revisiting Night City after its initial release, it is advisable to begin a fresh character to avoid any potential confusion. The skill tree and perks have been extensively modified to align with these gameplay alterations. Those interested in specializing in pistols and snipers will find the newly introduced Deadeye perk to be exceptionally powerful. This guide aims to provide detailed instructions on how to unlock and effectively utilize Deadeye in Cyberpunk 2077.
How to Unlock Deadeye
How to Use Deadeye
: The Cool section of the new skill tree is where Deadeye can be found. As the player's stealth abilities are influenced by the Cool attribute, investing in this attribute will enhance the power of pistols, sniper rifles, and thrown weapons. Those aspiring to be stealthy assassins should prioritize leveling up their Cool. Unlocking Deadeye requires reaching a Cool level of 15 and unlocking the Focus perk on the left side of the tree. By investing three additional points into the perk, Deadeye proper can be unlocked. If V's stamina is above 85%, Deadeye significantly boosts Headshot and weak spot damage by 25%. Additionally, this perk eliminates bullet spread and introduces a new reticle when not aiming down the sight. Activation for this ability is not necessary as it is specifically designed for precise hip firing. Snipers and Pistols possess substantial power even without aiming. By ensuring V has sufficient stamina, this perk can be utilized to swiftly eliminate enemies. Simply align the shot using the new reticle and fire to halt opponents in their tracks.
Deadeye Related Perks
In the updated 2.0 tree, there are additional benefits that further enhance the power of Deadeye. By combining Deadeye with other skills that boost stealth damage and headshot damage, a formidable stealth build can be created. The Long Shot perk, situated directly to the right of Deadeye, allows weapons to maintain their damage regardless of the distance from the target. Additionally, the Nerves of Tungsten Steel perk grants Deadeye the advantage of critical hits in addition to headshot damage, along with increased damage the further away V is from an enemy. By unlocking all of these perks together, an optimal stealth/sniper build can be achieved, enabling quick elimination of enemies. Give them a try and remember to fire from the hip to maximize damage.
