Pokemon Scarlet and Violet players currently have access to four Mystery Gift codes, which can be redeemed in exchange for Pokemon. Just like in previous Pokemon games, players can enter these special codes to receive free content.
In most cases, these Mystery Gift codes provide players with items that can assist them in their adventures throughout the Paldea region. However, the most thrilling codes offer players the opportunity to obtain rare Pokemon for their collection. These sought-after creatures give players the chance to easily add unique Pokemon to their team. As of now, there are four Pokemon available to claim through Mystery Gift codes, but more may be added in the future.
Until August 14, players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet can enter the code 23WCSGASTR0D0N to receive a complimentary Gastrodon. It is crucial for players of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet to redeem the expiration-bound codes promptly. Fortunately, there is a high possibility of numerous event Pokemon being introduced to the games in the upcoming months. Game Freak has significant plans for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, as indicated by the development of two DLC packs.
The initial DLC pack, called The Teal Mask, is set to launch on September 13. It will bring new Pokemon for players to incorporate into their teams, but there is no news regarding the inclusion of additional Mystery Gift codes. The second DLC pack, The Indigo Disk, is slated for a vague winter 2023 release. More details regarding this will be revealed after The Teal Mask becomes available to the general public on September 13.
The two DLC packs for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, along with the distribution of free Pokemon through Mystery Gift codes, have the potential to entice lapsed players. Despite being the lowest-rated Pokemon games, the developers have been consistently releasing updates to enhance the gameplay and keep fans interested with Pokemon distribution events. Only time will reveal whether these efforts can successfully alter the public's perception of the games. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are currently available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch.
