How to Get & Use StickersIs It Worth Buying Stickers?
In Pokemon GO, players can send Gifts to anyone on their in-game Friends list. The Gifts are obtained from spinning PokeStops or from Buddy Pokemon. Before sending a gift to a friend, players can add a Sticker to the postcard.
Stickers do not affect the type of Gifts being sent. However, they may be needed to complete certain Special Research or Timed Research tasks. If trainers find themselves running out of Stickers, they can buy more at the in-game shop. However, due to the rarity of PokeCoins, this may not be recommended for everyone.
How to Get & Use Stickers
To use Stickers, tap the trainer icon located at the bottom-left corner of the screen.
Tap over to Friends, and select their icon.
Choose Send Gift and select one of the postcards (gained from spinning PokeStops).
Grab a Sticker from the * Add Sticker option.
* If players choose the wrong one, simply tap Change Sticker to swap it out.
Is It Worth Buying Stickers?
Enhancing a gift with a sticker adds an extra touch of color to the postcard. However, in certain instances, Pokemon GO presents players with Timed Research Tasks that entail sending a specific number of Gifts adorned with stickers. For instance, there may be a Task instructing players to "Send Gifts with Stickers to 9 Friends." The reward for accomplishing this Task will vary, but it is necessary to complete it if players wish to fully benefit from each quest they undertake.
While Stickers can certainly be obtained at no cost, Pokemon GO players also have the opportunity to acquire them by purchasing with PokeCoins from the in-game Shop. To access the Shop, simply tap on the Poke Ball icon and choose the Shop option. Upon scrolling down, a designated section exclusively for Stickers will be available.
The Shop offers a variety of Stickers that vary with the seasons and events of Pokemon GO. There are typically 6 Seasonal Stickers and 6 Miscellaneous Stickers available for purchase, which cannot be obtained from PokeStops. The price for these Stickers is 35 PokeCoins for a pack of 10.
You can buy x30 Stickers for 80 PokeCoins in Pokemon GO. However, since the only way to obtain PokeCoins is by leaving a Pokemon at a Gym, it may not be wise to spend them on Stickers. Additionally, Stickers can be collected from PokeStops and Gifts, making it unnecessary to buy them. While a bundle of x10 Stickers costs only 35 PokeCoins, it is still recommended to save Coins for expanding Storage or purchasing Poffins. Pokemon have the potential to earn up to x50 PokeCoins a day, so it can take a considerable amount of time to accumulate enough money for other purchases. To put it simply, there are more valuable features to invest in rather than Stickers.
