Axew has been announced as the featured Pokemon for Pokemon GO's June Community Day by Niantic, creating an exciting event for players. The start of June brings a fresh month of thrilling features for the Pokemon GO community, including the return of one of its recurring events. Additionally, June is the start of a new season for Pokemon GO, named Hidden Gems. Season 11 brings a new GO Battle League season with rewards and events focused on Pokemon GO's PvP. Players can also anticipate a new Research Day with the opportunity to acquire Gimmighoul Coins and encounter Pokemon such as Sableye and Nosepass. Moreover, Sandyghast and Palossand are set to make their debut in Pokemon GO during the Water Festival: Beach Week event.
When does Pokemon GO's June Community Day take place?
Get ready for the upcoming June Community Day of Pokemon GO, scheduled for June 10 between 2 PM to 5 PM local time. This event will introduce the elusive Dragon-type Axew, which is one of the rarest non-legendary and non-mythical Pokemon in the game. During the event, players will have the chance to capture Axew and evolve it into Haroxus, the best Dragon-type Pokemon of its generation. Moreover, if you evolve Fraxure into Haroxus during the event or up to five hours afterward, you get a Haroxus with Charged Attack Breaking Swipe. Pokemon GO players can look forward to the upcoming June Community Day, which will feature the usual bonuses such as 3x XP and 2x Stardust when catching Pokemon, as well as a 50% reduction in Stardust required for trades. Additionally, players can purchase a ticket for $1 or the local currency equivalent to gain access to the Special Research story "Keeping Sharp." During the event, players will have the opportunity to battle in 4-star raids featuring Fraxure, the evolution of Axew. Completing a raid battle will also result in additional Axew appearing for the next 30 minutes around the gym that hosted the raid, making it a great event for fans of this powerful pure Dragon-type Pokemon evolutionary line. It's an exciting and positive way for the Pokemon GO community to come together and enjoy the game.
