In addition to the standard Pokemon GO Timed Research quest, there are also two exclusive Code-based Timed Research quests available during the Championships. To unlock these exclusive quests, participants must closely watch the live stream of the World Championships and obtain codes. One of these quests is the Great League Greatness, which is available from Friday, August 11, at 12:00 p.m. Local Time, to Saturday, August 12, at 8:00 p.m. Local Time.
While watching the Pokemon GO World Championships live stream for 30 minutes, trainers can receive two codes for exclusive Timed Research. Each day of the two-day tournament offers a separate set of codes and a unique quest. To participate in a specific quest, players must redeem the corresponding codes for that day. Great League Greatness Timed Research tasks and rewards in Pokemon GO
Using the live stream code from Day 1 of Pokemon GO will unlock the exclusive Timed Research called "Great League Greatness." Players who complete this research will be rewarded with encounters with excellent Pokemon for building Great League teams, 8000 Stardust, a Premium Battle Pass, a Star Piece, and various other rewards. These codes will remain valid until August 20, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. UTC, and players must redeem them before this date. Each account is limited to claiming one code for each set of Timed Research.
The Great League Greatness Timed Research is divided into three paths after the first step. Each path includes the same tasks but provides different rewards, specifically three sets of Great League-ready teams. Along with encountering different Pocket Monsters, players will also receive significant amounts of Pokemon GO Stardust and Candy. This encompasses all the tasks and rewards for the exclusive Great League Greatness Timed Research quest.
