Niantic, the developers of Pokemon GO, regularly update the game's events to keep players engaged. As part of Season 10, the Water Festival: Beach Week has returned with exciting rewards and tasks. This event offers players the chance to catch multiple Shiny Pokemon and witness numerous new Pocket Monster debuts. The festival features various Raid Bosses, from One-star to Mega Raids, and introduces Sandygast, Palossand, and Shiny Clauncher to the game for the first time. Starting on June 6 at 10 AM and ending on June 12 at 8 PM, local time, players can participate in Pokemon GO's Water Festival: Beach Week event. Pokemon GO Water Festival: All Field Research Tasks, Rewards & Encounters

Niantic has introduced two new Pokemon, namely Sandygast and Palossand, to Pokemon GO. During the Water Festival, players have the chance to obtain a Shiny Palossand. While Sandygast can be encountered through a Field Research task and as a One-star Raid boss, players must evolve it to obtain Palossand or its shiny variant. However, it is important to note that Sandygast requires 50 candy to evolve into Palossand. Additionally, players can benefit from an extended 4x duration of Rainy Lure as a part of the event bonus. The Water Festival Field Research offers a total of 7 tasks, each with a corresponding reward that generously compensates participants.

Pokemon GO Water Festival: All Timed Research Tasks, Rewards & Encounters

Players have the option to access event-specific Timed Research by paying 5 USD (or the equivalent in their local currency) during a limited time frame. The Timed Research Ticket can only be acquired from the in-game shop between 10 AM on June 6 and 8 PM on June 11, based on local time. Unfortunately, PokeCoins cannot be used to purchase Tickets. As the Water Festival Timed Research has a set expiration date, the tasks and rewards will no longer be available after 8 PM on June 12, based on local time. Additionally, it's important for players to keep in mind that if they have in-game friends who are at the Great Friends or higher Friendship level in Pokemon GO, those trainers can purchase and send tickets to them.
