Once Link has acquired the Yiga Mask, Yiga Armor, and Yiga Tights, he can make his way back to the Yiga Clan Hideout. Upon arrival, the Yiga Clan will grant him access to the hideout, where his next adventure awaits. In order to obtain the Lightning Helm, Link must venture into the Tears of the Kingdom.

Once Link successfully infiltrates the Yiga Clan Hideout, he gains access to special vendors selling rare items, a quest to unlock the Suariwak Shrine, and the next part of the process to obtain the Lightning Helm. To freely roam around the facility, Link needs to keep the full armor set equipped.

Upon entering the workshop, Link will encounter two large Zonai vehicles that he can record with Autobuild if he has it unlocked. After passing through this room, Link will reach a training course that resembles the one he had to sneak around in Breath of the Wild. Here, he will need to locate the Yiga Blademaster, who can be found atop one of the higher ledges.

The Lightning Helm is on display on a pedestal beside the Yiga Blademaster, but obtaining it won't be easy. Link must pass the Blademaster's challenges, which involve defeating a specific number of Yiga Footsoldiers within one minute. The challenge has three levels, each with an increasing number of enemies. To earn the Lightning Helm and other rewards, Link must complete all three levels. However, each attempt costs 100 Rupees, so it's wise to save beforehand and reload to avoid losing money. Here are the three challenges and their respective rewards: Challenge #1: Defeat three enemies in one minute. Reward: Yiga Fabric. Challenge #2: Defeat six enemies in one minute. Reward: Earthwake Manual. Challenge #3: Defeat nine enemies in one minute. Reward: Lightning Helm.

Once Link completes all three challenges presented by the Yiga Blademaster, he can acquire the Lightning Helm which grants immunity to lightning. This means that he will no longer need to wear the entire Rubber Armor set to gain protection from this hazard.
