Pokemon GO has announced an exciting collaboration with Detective Pikachu Returns, bringing an event that begins on October 5 at 10 a.m. and concludes on October 9 at 8 p.m. local time. During this event, players can expect heightened spawn rates for 13 Pokemon. Notably, a special Pikachu donning a detective hat, inspired by the Detective Pikachu movie, and a hat-wearing Slowpoke will be among them. Evolving Pikachu will grant trainers a Raichu with the detective hat. Furthermore, shiny versions of Alolan Exeggutor, Magikarp, Xatu, Bellossom, Lotad, Chimecho, and Bronzor will make appearances. Growlithe, Ducklett, Cutiefly, and Falinks complete the list. To add to the excitement, themed Field Research tasks will provide chances to encounter Sudowoodo, Snivy, and Rowlett. By completing these tasks, trainers can also fulfill the themed Collection Challenge.
When is the Pokemon GO x Detective Pikachu Returns Event?

The Pokemon GO x Detective Pikachu Returns crossover event offers players the opportunity to earn double XP by spinning PokeStops. By taking snapshots in Pokemon GO, players have a chance to encounter a Pikachu wearing a detective hat once a day. Additionally, completing the Event Timed Research will also result in the appearance of the same detective Pikachu. This research can be claimed until October 9 at 8 p.m. local time. On October 5, Pokemon GO will introduce the Detective Pikachu Avatar Pose in its in-game store.
Continuing until December 1, Pokemon GO Season 12 promises upcoming events that players should look forward to.
