Unleash the Wild: Find the Hero of the Wild Set in Zelda

The Wild Armor set in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom allows players to dress Link in his Hero of the Wild set from Breath of the Wild. However, obtaining this armor in TotK requires a different approach than in BotW. Instead of completing all the game's shrines, players must collect the Wild Armor from three chests located in the Depths. To help players locate these containers, this guide will reveal their precise positions.

Before venturing into the Depths, players should make some preparations as it is a dark and dangerous place. It is recommended to have a supply of TotK's Brightbloom Seeds as their light can be very helpful in the underground area. Additionally, players should also obtain at least two pieces of Flamebreaker Armor from the shop in Goron City to combat the extreme temperatures they will encounter on their journey to the Wild Armor.

The location of the Trousers of the Wild in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be found in a chest at coordinates 1673, 3722, -0561 within the Depths' Eldin Dark Skeleton. To reach this location, players can follow this route. It's important to equip the Flamebreaker Armor in TotK before embarking on this journey. Enter the Drenan Highlands Chasm through the entrance located at -0022, 2994, -0198, which is situated to the west of the Thyphlo Ruins Skyview Tower. Proceed in a northeasterly direction until you reach Katenim Lightroot at 0394, 3483, -0594. From there, head east towards Kayam Lightroot at 1269, 3733, -0553. Finally, continue eastwards until you reach the chest, which is resting on the bones of the Eldin Dark Skeleton. This is where you can find the Tunic of the Wild in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Players have the opportunity to acquire the Tunic of the Wild by looting a chest located at coordinates -4878, -3720, -0458 within the Depths' Gerudo Dark Skeleton. In order to reach this location, players must follow a specific path and activate the designated Lightroots along the way to make navigation more efficient.

The Cap of the Wild can be found in a chest located at coordinates -3960, 3724, -0859 within the Depths' Hebra Dark Skeleton. However, getting to this location can prove to be quite challenging, and players are advised to follow the route below to avoid getting stuck. It's worth noting that while following this path, players will come close to TotK's Cap of Time and may want to take a short detour to obtain it.

Enter the Hyrule Ridge Chasm by heading towards the west of the Lindor's Brow Skyview Tower at coordinates -2635, 1135, 0176. From there, make your way northeast towards Tikanur Lightroot located at -2531, 1168, -0623, and continue northwest towards the canyon at -2692, 1416, -0610.

To exit the canyon, head north towards -2688, 1629, -0694. After that, make your way to Kawumoro Lightroot located at -3077, 1616, -0687 by going west. Keep heading west until you reach -3881, 1612, -0592. Finally, head north towards So-oaw Lightroot at -4057, 1989, -0674.

Go towards Battle Talus located at -4398, 1998, -0565. Afterwards, head north towards Nupisoyuat Lightroot situated at -4537, 2879, -0707. Proceed further north until you arrive at -4573, 3322, -0682. Utilize TotK's Ultrahand ability to construct a ramp and a rocket and fan-powered glider. This will enable you to ascend and soar towards Kato Lightroot located at -4389, 3713, -0702. Finally, travel eastwards towards a chest resting atop the remains of the Hebra Dark Skeleton.
