Finally, Yae Miko has become a playable character in Genshin Impact. As the Guuji of Narukami Shrine, she carries the lineage of Kitsune, which is evident in her fox ears and tails. In addition to her role as a chief priest, Yae also manages a publishing house.
Yae Miko's build in Genshin Impact is quite straightforward, as she excels in performing tasks that off-field Electro users typically do, but with even greater proficiency. However, it may be somewhat challenging to decide whether to focus on enhancing her Electro Mastery or her Attack, as both aspects exhibit remarkable effectiveness throughout her gameplay.
Yae Miko's Talent Overview
As of July 31, 2023, Nahda Nabiilah updated this article to address the challenges of building Electro characters in Genshin Impact. One of the main hurdles is that their Elemental Reactions often result in less damage compared to other Elements. To optimize the performance of an Electro DPS character, it is crucial to focus on increasing their Attack, Electro damage, Energy Recharge, and Critical Hit rate. Previously, Electro units were regarded as underwhelming, despite having impressive weapons and artifacts. However, the introduction of Dendro reactions has revived the potential of Electro Vision. Consequently, it is necessary to revise this article to include the appropriate strategies for building Yae Miko in Genshin Impact.
Yae Miko's Catalyst user in Genshin Impact has one of the lowest Normal Attack multipliers, making her less than ideal as a Main DPS. However, she excels as an off-field Sub-DPS.
Elemental Skill
Yae Miko's Elemental Skill causes her to move towards the specified direction, leaving behind a Sesshou Sakura. This fox turret will periodically inflict damage on a single enemy within its range. Travelers can accumulate up to three charges and have a total of three Sesshou Sakura deployed on the battlefield.
The turrets can have a maximum of four levels, however, players with a zero Constellation can only obtain a level three turret. To enhance their strength, Travelers just need to use their skill when they are near a turret. This will connect the foxes, causing their levels to increase collectively.
Multiple Sesshou Sakuras of varying levels can coexist simultaneously. This situation arises when players cast their skill too far away from an existing turret.
Elemental Burst
Best Artifacts For Yae Miko In Genshin Impact
Yae Miko's Elemental Burst is a straightforward ability that summons a powerful lightning bolt from the sky, inflicting massive Electro damage. If her fox turret is present on the field, it will explode and unleash an even higher amount of Electro damage. Additionally, for each Sesshou Sakura destroyed, Yae Miko gains a charge of Elemental Skill, enabling her to recast her Skills once more. When building Yae Miko's artifact set in Genshin Impact, the ideal choice of main stats is highly influenced by her role within the team. It is generally recommended to prioritize Attack, Electro, and Critical stats. However, it is important to note that her Elemental Skill contributes significantly to her damage output, so focusing on items that enhance her Burst ability may not be the most optimal strategy.
Artifact Main Stat
Hourglass: Attack or Energy Recharge or Elemental Mastery
Goblet: Electro Damage Bonus or Elemental Mastery
Circlet: Critical Rate or Damage or Elemental Mastery
Artifact Set
Electro DMG Build
2-Thundering Fury + 2-Gladiator's Finale
2-Shimenawa’s Reminiscence + 2-Gladiator's Finale
2-Wanderer's Troupe + 2-Thundering Fury
4-Thundersoother
2-Thundering Fury + 2-Noblesse Oblige
4-Emblem of Severed Fate
The Millelith's Unyielding Determination
In essence, combining a +15% increase in Electro DMG Bonus with an +18% increase in ATK yields optimal results for enhancing Yae Miko's Electro DMG. Alternatively, players can experiment with prioritizing either more +18% ATK or +80 EM in the absence of the other two-piece set.
In theory, Thundersoother is the optimal choice assuming the enemies being targeted always have an Electro aura. However, since this cannot be guaranteed, the mixed-set option is much more popular than the specialized four-piece set. Nonetheless, players can still utilize the Thundersoother set if they include Yae Miko in a team that is either mono-Electro or focuses on Electro-Charged reactions.
Even for teams that prioritize Quicken/Aggravate Reactions, it is still advisable to equip Yae with Attack/Electro/Crit artifacts, but with a focus on boosting her EM Sub-stats. Additionally, if players do not possess an Attack Hourglass, EM can serve as a reliable alternative.
Players also have the option to choose highly situational sets such as Emblem or Tenacity. The 4-Tenacity of the Millelith set is a great choice if players are willing to sacrifice Yae Miko's personal damage in order to provide significant and consistent buffs to the rest of the team. On the other hand, the Emblem set works well when Travelers can create a field where the Kitsune receives a strong buff before using her Elemental Burst. Additionally, it is crucial to ensure that enemies are grouped together so that her thunderbolt can hit multiple targets simultaneously, as this will greatly increase the damage per second compared to her Elemental Skill.
Hyperbloom Build.
4-Gilded Dreams
4-Flower of Paradise Lost
Combining 2-Flower of Paradise Lost with 2-Wanderer's Troupe can lead to a tricky situation in Genshin Impact when Yae joins a Hyperbloom team. This is because she becomes the core for various Elemental Reactions, including Quicken, Aggravate, Hyperbloom, and Electro-Charged. To optimize these team compositions, players have the option to prioritize Elemental Mastery (EM) by going full EM/EM/EM, enhancing her Hyperbloom and Electro-Charged Reactions. Alternatively, they can choose to balance her damage by building her with EM/EM/Crit or EM/Electro/Crit.
