How to Restock Forge Constructs in Tears of the Kingdom (How to Get More Crystallized Charges)

Obtaining the maximum of eight Energy Cells in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom requires players to gather a substantial amount of Crystallized Charges. These rare items can only be obtained by trading Zonaite at Forge Constructs and then refining them into Energy Wells at designated Crystal Refineries. Since three Energy Wells are needed to make up one full Energy Cell, players must acquire 21 Crystallized Charges to fully upgrade Link's Energy Cells. However, obtaining them can be a time-consuming process, even for those who manage to farm Zonaite efficiently. To streamline the process of restocking Forge Constructs, players can use a simple method in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Players can use this method to restock any Forge Construct, but it's most effective at the one located in the Great Abandoned Central Mine. This Forge Construct has a considerable inventory, including five large Crystallized Charges and 30 small ones. Additionally, players can easily fast travel to this location after their first visit. By restocking the Forge Construct, players can obtain up to 130 Crystallized Charges each time, making it effortless to max out Link's Energy Cells.

To restock the Forge Construct, players need to advance the game by one day, save, and reload. They can quickly advance time by igniting a stack of wood on the lava and waiting by the fire until morning. Once the rest animation has ended, players can save the game, then reload the same save file to restock the Forge Construct's inventory. They can repeat this process as many times as necessary.

To reach the maximum of eight Energy Cells, players need to acquire seven more. This means they will require a total of 21 Energy Wells, which can be obtained by using 2,100 Crystallized Charges. Players can exchange these charges for a combination of Zonaite and Large Zonaite. To get five Large Crystallized Charges, players need to trade 15 Large Zonaite. As five Large Crystallized Charges equate to 100 regular charges, players can fully charge Link's Energy Cells by using 315 Large Zonaite. This would require restocking the Forge Construct's inventory 21 times.
