Unearthing the Elusive Chasm Mining Records in Genshin Impact: Unlock the Hidden Achievement

Genshin Impact is a lore-rich game, and much of this lore is contained within books scattered across the world. The newly introduced Chasm subregion in patch version 2.6 follows this pattern, offering hidden achievements and Primogem rewards for those who locate the various sets of lore books.

In this guide, Genshin Impact players will discover the three specific locations of lore books that unveil the captivating achievement "The Chasm Mining Records," granting 5 Primogems and delving into the history of the Chasm.

The Chasm Mining Archive

The first lore book needed for this achievement can be found outside the Chasm, which is situated to the West of Liyue Harbor. To begin, teleport to the easternmost point of the Chasm, located between Glaze Peak and Qingxu Pool.

Once teleported, players should proceed forward in the direction they are facing, passing by the building and crane. They should then continue following the wooden pathway until they reach a wooden table with several harpoon-like weapons behind it. On this table, they will discover the first lore book for the achievement, known as the Chasm Mining Archive.

The Chasm Mining Report

The second book, known as the Chasm Mining Report, is situated within the Chasm itself, making it easily accessible once the player discovers its location.

To reach the book, teleport to the designated point directly above the Chasm's Main Mining Area, located on the North-Easternmost side of the Chasm. Upon arrival, swiftly descend from the platform and commence gliding towards the platform below. In one of the corners of this platform, a collection of boxes with an illuminating source can be found. Positioned atop the initial box is the Chasm Mining Report lore book.

The Spiritstone Investigation Report

The player's quest for the final book leads them to the Spiritstone Investigation Report. Surprisingly, this book deviates from the naming convention of the others and does not include "Chasm" in its title. Despite being marked on the overhead map as located in the Chasm's Underground Waterway, it is actually found elsewhere.

To retrieve the Spiritstone Investigation Report, the player should teleport to the North-East teleport location of Stony Halls. From there, they should follow the path heading north, bypassing a Geovishap obstructing the way. Once past the Geovishap, the player should take an immediate left turn.

Continuing along this path will lead the player to a tent covered in dark mud, inside of which lies a slimy concretion. Whether or not the player decides to clear the mud away, the book will be accessible and can be found outside the tent, resting on a small pile of books. Reading this final book will unlock both the "The Chasm Mining Records" achievement and award the player with 5 Primogems.
