This revelation profoundly reshapes the portrayal of Cavill's Superman, as it now becomes apparent that he effortlessly circumvented the truck without sparing a backward glance, unknowingly causing the devastating destruction of the garage.

Why Man Of Steel's Ending Is Still So Controversial

The inclusion of the reveal actually enhances the final moments of Man of Steel because it clarifies that Cavill's portrayal of Superman had a specific motive for not rescuing the individuals trapped in the building.
