Uncover the Hidden Secrets: Ultimate Zevlor Quest Walkthrough for Baldur's Gate 3

The side quest "Find Zevlor" in Baldur's Gate 3's Act 2 can be initiated by speaking with the Tieflings at the Last Light Inn, but only if the players survived Act 1. Although the quest's name implies a straightforward task, some players may struggle to locate Zevlor in the Shadow-Cursed Lands. This guide aims to help those who are having difficulty finding the missing Tiefling. It is worth mentioning that explaining how to complete the quest involves revealing certain details about Act 2 story quests and locations, which may be considered spoilers. Players who wish to avoid spoilers should stop reading now, as they will naturally come across Zevlor's location while progressing through Baldur's Gate 3's second act.

Baldur's Gate 3: Where is Zevlor in Act 2

To successfully accomplish the objective of Find Zevlor in the Shadow-Cursed Lands in Baldur's Gate 3, players need to progress through the Act 2 story quests until they reach the Mind Flayer Colony. It is worth noting that this milestone is achieved after engaging in a battle with Ketheric Throm on the Moonrise Towers Rooftops, and it is impossible to overlook this particular location.

Upon arrival at the Mind Flayer Colony, players must proceed in a northerly direction towards the Flesh-Wrought Door located at coordinates X:687 Y:-9. Once inside, fans will discover the Tadpoling Centre, a room brimming with numerous pods. Amongst these pods, Zevlor resides in one and can be freed by interacting with the Neural Apparatus situated at X:686 Y:17.

To note, there are other NPCs besides the Tiefling trapped in pods at the Tadpoling Centre. Players should be prepared to battle multiple Mind Flayers and Intellect Devourers after using the Neural Apparatus. Fortunately, Zevlor and other friendly characters will join the fight. Players should talk to the Tiefling once the job is finished.

For players who have already progressed past the Mind Flayer Colony, it appears impossible to return to this location and free Zevlor. Some fans have managed to return to the map by using Misty Step to bypass a blockage in the Moonrise Towers Prisons, but the Tiefling does not come out of the pod when using the Neural Apparatus. This situation also occurs if players try to open the pods immediately after the boss fight in the Mind Flayer Colony. Players may need to load an old saved game to complete the Find Zevlor quest.
