Uncover the Hidden Secrets of Zelda: Embark on the Epic Sage Ruins Side Quest

Experience the captivating world of Tears of the Kingdom as you embark on the Sage Ruins side quest Interact with the Sages to uncover hidden secrets, but beware of their potential to disrupt your gameplay

One player in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has their attempt at a side quest thwarted by a Sage. While the ability to construct anything the player desires is a game-changing feature in Tears of the Kingdom, there are certain factors that can diminish a player's enthusiasm for these new elements. Occasionally, the experimental aspects of Tears of the Kingdom result in a messy outcome. Most of the time, the player is at fault, but sometimes the Sages can be held accountable.

In Tears of the Kingdom, there is a recurring quest where the player must assist a man named Addison in keeping a sign of President Hudson steady so he can plant it firmly in the ground. Initially, the quest is straightforward, with the player typically using a few pieces of wood to keep it upright. However, as the quest progresses, the sign designs become increasingly absurd, requiring more intricate constructions to prevent it from toppling over. As a reward, the player receives some money, a rice ball meal, and a random item.

One Tears of the Kingdom player had to start over an intricate design due to the mistake of an explosive Sage. User Riahisama shared a video on the Tears of the Kingdom subreddit, showcasing their attempt to complete a sign quest. In the video, they constructed a sturdy framework using various wooden pieces, then proceeded to approach Addison. However, when the player accidentally moved an object near Addison, he became frightened and needed to calm down before engaging in conversation.

Despite this, the player persisted in trying to talk to Addison, repeatedly pressing the A button, which inadvertently activated Yunobo the Sage. As a result, Yunobo transformed into a ball and launched towards any object in front of Link, causing it to explode. In this case, the structure they had built to support the sign crumbled into pieces, reminiscent of a failed contraption attempt by another Tears of the Kingdom player using rockets and bombs. In the comments, users expressed their frustration at how easy it was to inadvertently destroy everything with Yunobo, proposing alternative methods to activate Sages.

The Sages in Tears of the Kingdom's Hyrule provide assistance and alleviate loneliness, yet they also present certain problems. Yunobo's issue stands out as pressing the wrong button can instantly destroy the player's newly-built vehicle. Fans are urging for a safer method to activate Sages to prevent accidents like this from occurring.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be played on the Nintendo Switch.
