The In Search of Lost Time quest in Genshin Impact is a lengthy adventure that offers valuable rewards, including chests and an achievement. Players are tasked with assisting Broglie, a hydrology researcher, in recovering the submerged monitoring data from the hydrology research stations.

To aid Broglie, travelers must visit three different locations, each with its own unique quest in Genshin Impact. However, the In Search of Lost Time quest can only be initiated once the previous quests in the north, west, and south have been successfully completed.

In Search Of Lost Time: South Quest In Genshin Impact

Luckily, players who haven't completed the Archon Quest can still do the In Search of Lost Time Quest as they are not related.

To initiate the South Quest, In Search of Lost Time, make your way to the New Fontaine Research Institute Waypoint. From there, proceed towards the southwest direction, until you reach the broken bridge located near the water. Approach the distressed individual named Broglie and engage in a conversation with him. Once he elaborates on the current circumstances, kindly agree to fulfill his request.

Proceed onward by tracking the Quest marker towards the submerged research station and venture into its depths. Locate the control room where, nestled within, lies a dormant console. Engage with the hovering tomes to peruse the Conch Madeline Stop Safe Operating Procedures note. This informative document unveils that the stationary energy storage apparatus resides beneath the console's surface, necessitating its online status for activation.

Get out of the control room and descend underwater towards the adversary in Genshin Impact. Overpower it utilizing the enclosing Jellyfish's Power, then proceed to trigger the Crystal Mechanism to temporarily unlock the main door.

Follow these steps to enter a different point of view: swiftly swim inside and access the activated console. Once inside, direct your attention to the red lens.

Change it yet again by focusing on the red lens in the middle.

Change the POV one more time.

In Search Of Lost Time: West Quest In Genshin Impact

To initiate the In Search of Lost Time: West Quest, head towards the tower located to the north of Mont Esus East. Ascend to its pinnacle and confront a pair of Fatui Skirmishers in Genshin Impact. It will become apparent to players that the ultimate level is obstructed, and accomplishing the Quest is the sole method to unlock it.

Descend the barricaded staircase and peruse the document resting upon the tabletop. To unravel further details about the tower, it is imperative for Travelers to explore two Fatui encampments: one situated adjacent to the shattered bridge, and the other perched precipitously near a cliff.

Located west of the tower, the initial camp lacks significant information. In contrast, the second camp situated southeast of the tower holds a clue.

In order to lure the concealed Fatui Skirmishers out of the tower, simply give a firm strike to the cooking pot. Shumilov will promptly sprint towards you, accompanied by two other comrades, within the realm of Genshin Impact. Take down the adversaries, and subsequently return to the tower to ascend to its uppermost level.

Engage the Stabilizer and strike when the circle aligns with the blue zone. Ascend the ladder and acquire the Valuable Chest in Genshin Impact, subsequently triggering the console to obtain monitoring data.

In Search Of Lost Time: North Quest In Genshin Impact

Pick up the container and go up the stairs to place it next to the deactivated console.

Turn it on to unlock the upper floor then grab the transfer device again and put it next to the Stabilizer on the recently unlocked floor.

Activate the Stabilizer and climb the wooden ladder.

Open the second Precious Chest and take the monitoring data from the console for later.

In Search Of Lost Time Quest In Genshin Impact

Upon completing the preceding three quests in Genshin Impact, players will automatically trigger the quest "In Search of Lost Time". To commence this quest, travel swiftly to the New Fontaine Research Institute and engage in a conversation with Broglie. Follow the quest marker to reach the central processing station and patiently await the arrival of the Hydrology Researcher, who will then grant access to a Luxurious Chest in Genshin Impact. Venture onward and allow Broglie to manipulate the console situated on the lower floor, only to be unexpectedly interrupted by Malinovskyi.

The Fatui flees and Travelers pursue, only to discover that Malinovskyi has sealed off all escape routes. To unlock the window, activate the console and transfer the energy from the stationary device to the transfer device located atop the bookshelf. Place the container beside the deactivated console for unlocking.

To initiate the console, swim towards the submerged institute entrance and plunge into the depths. Once again, transfer the energy from one device to another in order to unlock the door. Catch Malinovskyi off guard and he will flee when his health is nearly depleted. Pursue him by leaping into the water through the window and utilize the underwater currents to ascend to the surface.

Once again, defeat the Fatui Skirmisher and reclaim the stolen monitoring data, which must then be delivered forcefully to Broglie. By doing so, players will achieve The Forgotten Realm in Genshin Impact and successfully complete the Quest.
