To uncover the hidden Golden Walnuts in Stardew Valley, players should pay a visit to Leo's hut on the eastern side of Ginger Island. Upon arriving, they will encounter Leo, a young boy who promptly scurries away. Moving on to the next area, players will spot a conspicuous Golden Walnut nestled within a tree. This valuable item must then be handed over to the chatty parrot residing in Leo's hut to the north. In return, the parrot will offer helpful clues each day, guiding players toward other secret Golden Walnuts locations in Stardew Valley.

The parrot in Leo's hut offers hints for 123 out of the 130 maximum golden walnuts found on Ginger Island, excluding the following locations:

- A single golden walnut positioned on the bush in the eastern region, specifically within the Gem Bird shrine puzzle.

Trading a Banana for three Golden Walnuts at an altar outside Leo's hut

Winning the Darts Game, located in the Pirate's Cove, which yields three Golden Walnuts

Aside from the first Golden Walnut mentioned above, the east section of Ginger Island contains a handful more:

One is on the tree inside Leo's hut. Hit it with an axe to release it

A Banana can be traded to a gorilla by placing it on the altar next to Leo's staircase. This will yield three Golden Walnuts

Five Golden Walnuts can be found on the hidden path towards the Gem Birds shrine puzzle, located on the east side of the island. To complete this puzzle, players must collect gemstones that are randomly dropped by a bird during rainy days. These gemstones must then be placed on the corresponding altar depending on the region they were obtained in: north, south, east, or west. The order and types of gems are different for each save file, making guides useless in revealing the answer. Solving this puzzle will reward players with five Golden Walnuts.

Several puzzles can be completed in this area to locate more Golden Walnuts on Ginger Island:

Completing the Pirate Wife's quest will reward the Stardew Valley player with five Walnuts. To obtain a total of 15 Golden Walnuts, the Gourmand Frog will request the player to harvest a Melon, followed by Wheat, and Garlic in that specific sequence.

A Simon Says puzzle in a cave north of the Tiger Slime Grove awards three Golden Walnuts

Hitting the whack-a-mole creature on the beach will offer a single Walnut.

In Ginger Island West, there are Golden Walnuts that can be obtained by various actions instead of being found in predetermined locations. Defeating Slimes in the Tiger Slime Grove will reward you with a random Golden Walnut, but this can only be done once.

Harvesting crops can sometimes yield a Walnut (up to five)

Mining the mussel rocks south of the Ginger Island farm will unlock another five Golden Walnuts (one can drop randomly)

on Ginger Island East.

Many Walnuts can be uncovered at specific locations. A Journal Scrap (#6) awaits on the southern beach near the farmhouse. In the southeast section, there is a unique spot where a curved palm tree protrudes from the cliff face. Digging in the upper-right corner of this area will reveal a valuable Golden Walnut.

Furthermore, there is a square of distinct grass behind a Mahogany Tree. If the player digs in the central tile of this area, they will discover another Golden Walnut.

Revised: In the vicinity of the tide pools, you will find an X marked on the sandy ground. Dig at this spot to uncover a Walnut. Additionally, there are indentations in the sand towards the southwest of the tide pools, right along the water's edge. A Golden Walnut can be excavated from the middle of these indentations.

Digging in the sand behind Birdie's shack will produce a Golden Walnut and a Quality Bobber

East of the Parrot Express station is a diamond made of stones. Dig in the center for a Walnut

There are numerous bushes with Walnuts on them that can be shaken to release the nuts. Outside of Qi's Walnut Room, there is a specific bush that contains a Walnut.

After passing through Qi's Walnut Room, there is a partially concealed path running along the water on the cliff. At the end of this path, there is a Walnut bush.

Behind a Mahogany Tree in the Tiger Slime Grove is a hidden Walnut bush

A bush west of the farmhouse has a Golden Walnut (it may be hidden behind a taller palm tree)

On the southern side of the bridge west of the Parrot Express, lies a dense cluster of trees concealing a Walnut bush.

Further east, perched on a ledge next to the river, you will find a tucked-away Walnut bush along the path.

Beyond the radiant diamond lies a concealed pathway amidst the lush foliage. This pathway leads to a magnificent Walnut bush at its culmination.

To the east of the enchanting Tiger Slime Grove lies a slender trail that winds around the elevated cliff. Adorned with numerous gracefully curved palm trees, this path ultimately unveils a resplendent Golden Walnut bush at its terminus.

Total number of Golden Walnuts in this area: 28. The Stardew Valley Volcano Dungeon is located in this area, but it will be discussed separately in the subsequent section. In addition to the Golden Walnuts obtained by exploring the Volcano, here are the remaining locations of the Golden Walnuts in Ginger Island North:

Completing the fossil sets at the Island Field Office will reward Golden Walnuts:Six can be found by completing the Large Animal fossil

The Snake fossil can be completed for three Walnuts

Donating a Mummified Frog will yield another Walnut

The last fossil at the Island Field Office, the Mummified Bat, will yield one more

There are two survey challenges available at the Island Field Office, both offering a Walnut as a reward. To complete the first challenge, you need to find 22 purple flowers, while the second challenge requires you to locate 18 purple starfish.

To obtain a Walnut, you can utilize a slingshot to knock down a Walnut from the tree located on the side of the Volcano, specifically above the Parrot Express.

Some Walnut bushes are found around the area:Through a hidden path west of the Volcano

Hidden behind a palm tree southeast of the Volcano

To reach the area north of the Dig Site, ascend the stairs and navigate through the cliff using the hidden path. Afterward, cross the rope bridge, making note of the two bushes located there.

From the Dig Site, proceed upwards towards the steps. Then, head west across the bridge that extends over the river.

Head west through a concealed opening amidst the trees, directly ahead of the Island Trader vessel. Journal scrap #10 will guide you to a location ripe for excavation, located southwest of the entrance to the Volcano, nestled within the bend of a curved palm tree. As a reward, you shall obtain an Ostrich Egg and a Walnut.

There are several additional excavation sites in this region, where you can find up to seven Walnuts: Near the entrance of Ginger Island North, on the left side, amidst a cluster of rocks forming a circular shape.

Within the pebble circle located in the far northwest, offering a view of the ocean, which is a frequent spot for Leo.

north of the Dig Site, sits an arrangement of stones and plants. The top and left sides of this circular space are bordered by the imposing Volcano wall and a line of bushes. On the other hand, the right and bottom of the circle are defined by sizable, level rocks.

In the grassy area just inside the entrance from the main beach to Ginger Island North, you will find a palm tree and a small sandy patch. Take a closer look and dig in the sand. Another clue lies within a diamond-shaped arrangement of flowers.

Total Golden Walnuts in this area: 21 (19 inside, two outside)

The Volcano Dungeon in Stardew Valley is an excellent spot to find Golden Walnuts, especially after exploring other areas. Inside the Volcano Dungeon, there are a total of 19 Golden Walnuts that can be acquired through various methods such as opening chests, mining, and defeating monsters. These Golden Walnuts can be obtained randomly, one at a time.

There is a Forge located at the summit of the Volcano, accompanied by two bushes positioned at its entrance and exit. Each bush contains a Walnut.

Furthermore, there are two additional Walnuts that can only be discovered by traversing through the Volcano. They are located outside of it.

Inside the primary entrance of the dungeon, adjacent to the flowing lava river, players have the ability to utilize their watering can to pour liquid onto the magma, thereby creating a sturdy bridge. By persistently repeating this action towards the west along the course of the lava river, individuals can successfully navigate towards an exit located within the Volcano. Moreover, this particular pathway is adorned with two flourishing Walnut bushes.

Before the construction of the resort, one can find a Golden Walnut in the southeastern area of the main beach.

Enter Ginger Island North and make a sharp right. Proceed along a concealed pathway, concealed behind a massive, vibrant green tree, to discover a Walnut bush. Interestingly, this particular Walnut bush is situated on Ginger Island South, contrary to the belief of the hint parrot at Leo's, which considers it to be located on the North.

Obtaining the remaining 11 Walnuts in this area can only be done by constructing the Island Resort. During rainy days, a mermaid will emerge on a rock in the ocean. Fishing in the center of the star-shaped tide pool will result in a Walnut

There's a diamond shape made of yellow starfish on the beach in this area. Dig in the center for a Walnut

At night, when it's not raining, the Pirate Cove becomes a haven for pirates. Engaging in dart games with them provides an opportunity for players to secure up to three Golden Walnuts, with each victory earning one.

Additionally, within the Pirate Cove lies a small sandy area surrounded by barrels, located on the right side of the lagoon. Players can uncover a Walnut by digging at this spot.
