A devoted Genshin Impact enthusiast has constructed six life-sized models of beloved characters, including Ganyu and Keqing from the Liyue territory. The Mondstadt and Liyue regions boast a plethora of fan-favorite Genshin Impact characters that have captured the hearts of many, and admirers of the action-packed RPG continue to share their own fan art and creations in homage to the game's overwhelming success.
Since its launch in September of 2020, Genshin Impact has introduced players to the immense and captivating world of Teyvat, with the Mondstadt region's playable characters rapidly becoming fan favorites. Even to this day, characters like Amber and Noelle remain adored by fans, and while they may surface in occasional limited-time events, the game's focus will soon shift to the new Fontaine region. As they eagerly await more information on Fontaine, many players turn to the Mondstadt region as a source of inspiration for their fan-made content.
Using official artwork from Genshin Impact and inspiration from fellow fan SV.papercraft, Tobyn Jacobs crafted six life-size models of his favorite characters from the game. These models include Ganyu, Amber, Noelle, Keqing, Barbara, and Xiangling, with the latter three also featuring their commonly used weapons. Tobyn's attention to detail is evident in the models' poses, which appear to reference idle character animations and official artwork from event wishes in the game. One of the most notable examples of this is the Barbara model, which shares the exact same pose as the character in the Wanderlust Invocation event wish. Barbara is a 4-star Hydro character in Genshin Impact that players can acquire by summoning from this event wish.
Tobyn's impressive replication of Genshin Impact's unique artwork through life-size paper models has gained attention from many fans in the community. Luckily, those interested in creating their own paper models can find guidance through SV.papercraft instructions and official artwork. While waiting for the release of version 3.8, the Genshin Impact community is sure to continue sharing their fan artwork and creations. Leaks for version 3.8 suggest that there will be even more new events and activities available as the Sumeru story comes to a close, with the highly anticipated Fontaine region expected to arrive in the major 4.0 update this summer.
Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. A Nintendo Switch version is in development with no confirmed release date.
