How to Complete Separate Ways Chapter 7

The final objective in the last chapter is to retrieve the Amber from Saddler. In order to achieve this, players must initially find the Sanctuary, engage in combat against Saddler, and assist Leon in eliminating him.

Head for the Sanctuary

Start by eliminating the adversaries within the Underground Passage and traverse the elevators to reach the summit. It is important to bear in mind that the foes present in this section of RE4 can be bypassed. Players simply need to sprint past them and swiftly shut the elevator door before they manage to gain entry.

Defeat Saddler

Inside the Sanctuary, players must face off against Saddler, the game’s final boss. To defeat him, they will need to shoot the glowing eye in his mouth.

In the battle, Saddler employs a total of six moves against players: Lunge, Strike, Grab, Ground Attack, Poisonous Vomit, and Tornado Strike. Overcoming the first five moves is achievable through crouching, parrying, or swiftly retreating. However, the final move, called the Tornado Lunge, requires players to press RB (or R1 on PlayStation) in order to grapple away from Saddler.

Each time Saddler is stunned, players must stab the eye in his mouth by pressing the RT or R2 button.

Soldiers and Brutes guard the highly sought-after rocket launcher, giving Ada a mere 4.5 minutes to secure it. Navigating adeptly, evading enemies, and utilizing her impressive grappling abilities prove crucial for achieving success.

Upon acquiring the rocket launcher, players must strategically aim for Saddler's tentacles in the eye to clear the way forward. The grand finale lies in pressing the crane button, allowing them to safely deliver the rocket launcher to Leon and bringing closure to the concluding chapter.

All Treasure Locations in Separate Ways Chapter 7

Players can claim four treasures in the final chapter of the Separate Ways DLC. Here’s where to find them:

A Velvet Blue is on top of the elevator that helps Ada leave the Underground Passage.

The Staff of Royalty is in the chest near the same elevator.
