Larian Studios has recently released a community blog post, unveiling the complete list of exciting features that will come with version 1.0 of Baldur's Gate 3. These features include new level caps, difficulty modes, races, subclasses, story content, spells, and feats. With its launch update, Baldur's Gate 3 will offer a completely fresh gaming experience, making it a must-have investment for any RPG enthusiast. What sets this game apart is its turn-based combat and a truly unique RPG experience, something rarely found in mainstream gaming.
Larian Studios has made an exciting announcement regarding character options in the game. Players can expect significant updates, such as two new races, one new subrace, one new class, a whopping 22 new subclasses, a fresh origin character, and a diverse range of new companions. Among the new races, the Half-Orc stands out as a natural warrior race, with incredible abilities like Relentless Endurance and Savage Attacks that enhance weapon damage. Additionally, players can look forward to the Dragonborn race, a fascinating group of Draconid-humanoids possessing a powerful dragonbreath weapon. There will be 10 subclasses, each corresponding to a different dragonbreath color, determining the type of weapon used. Lastly, the Dwarven sub-race Duregar Dwarf will also make its debut in the game.

The highly anticipated Monk class will finally be added to Baldur's Gate 3, offering players a range of combat and play styles through its three subclasses. Furthermore, each class will receive an additional subclass option once they reach level 3, giving even more choices to magic-users who will have multiple subclasses to choose from. New characters, such as the Tiefling Barbarian Karlach, will join the existing Origin characters right from the beginning of the game. In early access, players will also have the opportunity to explore the game with new companions, including Halsin, Jaheira, Minsc, and Minthara.
The introduction of new subclasses for the magic classes is supported by the vast array of spells available in Baldur's Gate 3. Players can expect to find a staggering 600 spells at launch, including 51 brand-new additions. Not to be outdone, the mundane classes will also see a significant increase in the number of available feats, more than doubling their options with the addition of 22 new feats at launch.
Upon the launch of Baldur's Gate 3, players will enter a world and story where the level cap has been raised to Level 12, surpassing the original limit of Level 10. Additionally, two new difficulty modes, Story Mode and Hardcore Mode, will be introduced alongside the existing Normal Mode. Story Mode aims to provide players with various bonuses, enabling smoother gameplay and allowing them to delve deeper into the storyline.
