Armored Core 6 brings back From Software's thrilling mecha action series, promising an intense experience for fans of Soulsbourne games. Just like in its predecessors, combat is punishing and boss fights are challenging. Seasoned players will understand the significance of their AC's build, as it plays a crucial role alongside skill in defeating certain bosses.
Players will find themselves constantly fine-tuning their AC design in the garage. Among the early boss fights is the encounter with the mighty Juggernaut, a formidable heavy tank that must be defeated to complete the Operation Wallclimber mission. This guide offers tips on how to conquer the Juggernaut and recommends the optimal build for players. It's worth mentioning that there is a full mission preceding this boss encounter, so it's crucial to be fully prepared by stocking up at the resupply drone conveniently placed before the fight.
Best Build for Beating Juggernaut
The most effective build for defeating the Juggernaut should lean towards a lighter load or be balanced. Taking advantage of the Juggernaut's slow movements can greatly benefit the player. Since this is early on in Chapter 1, there may be limited options for part selection. If the player discovers an alternative method that works, it is advisable to stick with it, as there is some room for variability in boss fights. The recommended build strategy involves high damage output and nimble evasion. The Pulse Blade is considered one of the top weapons in the game and will prove helpful in most boss encounters. For the Booster and Generator, it is recommended to have quick energy recharge, while the FCS should enhance mid-range capabilities or aid in missile lock-on.

Juggernaut Moveset
The Juggernaut's moveset is more limited when compared to the bosses encountered later in the game. Prior to dashing straight across the boss arena towards the players, it will briefly shudder. To avoid its charge, players can swiftly maneuver to the left or right.
It will occasionally attack with missiles, or it's forward guns. Keep an eye on the HUD for indicators when the missiles are firing.
Juggernaut Strategy
When the Juggernaut's health reaches approximately 50%, it will deploy luminous mines towards its rear to defend itself. Be vigilant since these mines can scatter all across the area floor.

The front side of the Juggernaut is heavily armored. The objective is to rapidly accelerate in order to attack from the back or shoot down its armor. Rusty will assist the player during the initial half of the battle. Take advantage of this opportunity to attack the Juggernaut from behind and launch missiles.
Once the Juggernaut's health is reduced by half, Rusty will leave the player. Take advantage of the Assault boost to swiftly position yourself behind it. With caution, players can even perch on its rear end and launch unhindered attacks. To evade the mines when its health is low, it's advisable to stay airborne above the Juggernaut. As long as your build is agile enough and you remain positioned behind the Juggernaut, most weapons should be effective.
Armored Core 6 is currently accessible on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
