Different Farms

Players of this life simulation game likely immediately notice the abundance of diverse growing spaces. In every town, there is a new area where players can relocate their homes, accompanied by a fresh plot of land. Each potential growing spot possesses distinct attributes that directly influence the growth of seeds. At the outset, the farm in Lectenbury offers a modest 30 spots for cultivating crops, whereas other locations boast an impressive range of 45 to 60 spots. Moreover, each location possesses its own unique terrain and weather conditions.

Herbstburg: The plots available in and around Herbstburg are in perpetual autumn.

Lilikala: These growing spaces are always in summer, and they are in the sands of the beach.

Volcano: The ground around the volcano is always superheated.

Zimagrad: The season in Zimagrad is always winter.

There are a handful of spaces that have all four regular seasons in this Harvest Moon game:Starting farm

How Different Seasons and Farms Change Growing Seeds (Mutations)

Master the Art of Farming and Unleash the Power of Nature in Harvest Moon: The Winds of Anthos - Ultimate Guide

Each season presents the optimal growing conditions for specific seeds, although seeds can be cultivated throughout the year. Interacting with red or blue Harvest Wisps in the surrounding environment enables players to obtain seeds, which replenish daily and offer consistent seed types. Villages also house shops that sell seeds, and completing quests for NPCs can earn players additional seeds as rewards.

When planting Winds of Anthos crop seeds in varying seasons and terrains, there is a possibility of yielding a distinct variant of the crop known as a mutation. Each of the following categories will have its own unique set of mutations:

Spring

Summer

Autumn

Winter

Flatlands

Desert

Volcano

Planting the same seed in different locations or seasons in the Harvest Moon game may result in a slight chance of mutation. This chance can be increased by using fertilizer and improving the player's crop-growing skills. Fertilizer can be obtained by purchasing it or processing animal feces, while planting more of the same crop will enhance the crop-growing ability. Each time a crop of that type is harvested, it contributes towards the player's overall harvest count.

Level 1: Harvest up to 49 crops.

Level 2: 50 - 249

Level 3: 250 - 499

At Level 4 or higher, a player who has planted and harvested Turnips 500 times will significantly increase their chances of obtaining higher star ratings for future Turnip plantings and experiencing seasonal or locational mutations. Additionally, reaching Level 3 with a specific seed grants players the opportunity to purchase an unlimited amount of that seed from any Village seed shop.

Giant Crops

Asparagus

Broccoli

Cabbage

Carrot

Celery

Corn

Eggplant

Green Bell Pepper

Lettuce

Onion

Pineapple

Potato

Pumpkin

Spinach

Strawberry

Giant plants, similar to regular and mutated plants, require several in-game days to fully grow and bloom. The growing times for each seed vary and can be found in the seed information listed in the menu.
